Minor Lower Back Pain, No Gym is Killing me

Did something to my back from doing bentover dumbell rows, I felt a numbness while working out, but no pain, next day 2nd set on Incline bench(light weight) pulled something i couldnt even look down ha. so i stopped working out for 1 week and then went in barely felt a small awareness of my back when i went in, but the next day i could barely get out of bed, so ive been out for 2 and half weeks now, but i still have the minor pain in my lower right back. I dont know if i should try to workout again... it may worsen the situation, the doctor just said to take it easy, but this is taking forever..... anyone had anything similar? doesnt hurt, but the next day after workout i can barely get out of bed?

probably a herniated disc that has been worsening over time. you really should get an X-ray or CT scam performed. take a week off, take regular anti-inflammatories and see a physio for some massage+therapy. you need to strengthen your core and over time the back will improve.
numbness usually a sign that the herniated disc is pressing against one of the spinal nerves.

i pretty much experienced the same symptoms, CT showed herniate disc T L4-5. after some physio and stengthening abs/obliques and usual lumbar stuff i was back to squatting heavy+BB rows. i wouldnt say with no discomfort, but 1000% better than before.

To be sure you must get an MRI, might be hernia might be a pulled muscle.

X rays wont do it. Mri sees a lot more things then an x ray.

I wish you luck on your recovery.

Also you must be patient and realize that if you have something a bit more serious like a hernia there are some things you will not be able to do anymore it sucks big time.

A good place to go is a sport clinic they work has a team and are amazing.

I have gone true chiro and all other technics which stole my money but i kept my pain

Sounds like you may have formed some trigger points in your glutes. You can massage them yourself, do a search on google to find out how.
