Calf Muscle gets weird... Need Advice

    need some advice

this happened to me the other day at the gym...

I was doing sets of concentrated bicep curls when all of a sudden my right calf muscle tightened up and shot pain throughout my leg. I looked at it and it was freakishly deformed looking like the muscle itself had moved up my leg. I sat there on the bench for a couple min thinking to myself "how am I gonna get up without lookin like an idiot" when the muscle finally "relaxed" and my calf appeared normal.

My prob is everytime I do certain exercises mostly to do with biceps, I can feel the strain im putting on my calves and feel like if I go the "extra" burn my muscle is gonna slip out of place again.... should I focus on better posture? (tho, I think that's fine) heavier shoes? or put more weight on the soles of my heels??

any advice welcome and much appreciated.

Hey man, sorry to hear about the pain, but glad to hear that i'm not the only one with this problem. This has been happening to me for YEARS but no pain. It starts off feeling like a cramp, then the calf starts to move on it's own, up and down, in and out, and generally just really freaky looking? I'm so used to it now i can actually make it move on my own just by flexing to the point where it's about to cramp, and it starts that crazy movement.
Don't know what to do about it man. I've just dealt with it and been aware of it, and try not to flex it ever. I keep my heels firmly planted at all times.
