shin splints and lower back pain when running??
I havent ran in a while, and today I went runnign and my shins killed me and my lower back discomfort was all but completely unbearable..i had to quit! I know not having ran for a while and being heavier than ever before has its effects..but ould this also be an effect of taking oxodrol 12??? I herd it can cause bad shin splints and low back pain??? what should i do to correct this?

Yeah, need some more information. Where exactly is the shin pain and what kind of feeling is it (aching, shooting pain etc) and does it hurt all the time or just when you run?
Same with lower back, need more info than "lower back pain"

I've had shin splints before and they are a real bitch. I also had some back problems years ago. You might try running on a softer surface. If I run, and I don't much anymore because swimming is so much better, I do it in grass whenever I can. Just a thought.

How much do you strech? If its been awhile since you ran much, start off alittle slower with maybe fast walking. If you strech good and work your way into it, the pain should go away after a couple of weeks.

I don't have any info for you bro.......I hope it works out for you though.
I want to jump in on here, b/c I have the same problems when I run.
I am 6'3", 211lbs, 38 years old.
My shins and ankles hurt more than anything "while" I am running. This pain is achy, but, it gets to a point to where it is unbearable, esp the shins.
My lower back will hurt like a beeeyatch the next day.
I also have a herniated L5 that is also degenerative........does anyone have any suggestions for this condition?

I am not a runner........LOL
The pain keeps me from that.
Before 7 years ago when I started getting into shape, I did absolutely nothing. I then jogged on the treadmill for about a year.....small stuff like 2 miles.
The pain stopped me and keeps me stopped from doing it.

Shin splints aren't actually a diagnosis but just a term to describe pain in the shin. Need a lot more information about the nature of the pain. ie. location, onset, etc.

Take a week off running, I had them when I played lacrosse and went on vacation and felt like a new man when I came back.
