    Wrist pain

About 2 months ago i was doing a forearm exercise and i heard a bone snap, or atleast is sounded like it. So i thought it would heal over time (gave it one month) but the pain was still there so i finally took anti inflammatory pills and worked great. Once i was off the pills i decided to go back to the gym (which has been about one and a half months) and the pain is there but not as much. Prior on receiving my pills from the docs i got an x-ray done and everything was good. The pain is there if i harden my wrist or when i do forearm exercises and some bicep exercises or if i even hold my backpack and try to lift it up. Im 21 years old btw. Any idea what this can be?

Sounds like it could be a tear of some of the muscle fibers where they attach onto the bone. The other less likely possibility is a stress fracture, which sometimes doesn't show up immediately on xray, you'd need a bone scan or MRI.

Pain improving with NSAIDs leads me to think its the 1st of the two. I've had something similar from doing heavy upright barbell rows. I just had to give it a rest for about 6-8 weeks and it was fine. You're young and ought to heal a little faster. Just take it easy for a while on all exercises that make it hurt - probably bicep curls.
