    Forearm pain, Ibuprofen? Calcium tabs?

Ive seen a few post on here complaining about the same thing as I. Seems like a shin splint but in your forearm from doing heavy barbell curls and over use in general. splints are like tiny fractures but heres my question.

Do you think calcium tablets would do anything to help? I also read that it is the muscle the runs down the pinky side of your forearm. So maybe some ibuprofen? I don't have insurance at the moment so MRI's and X-Rays are basically impossible. Im currently in the middle of a cycle and im not stopping. So what else could i do to help? It was worse before and i took a week or 2 off from arm day. Pain is back a little bit but not as bad as it was before.

Last year, I had the exact same problem. Like an assh*le I decided to still continue to curl heavy, biggest mistake of my life. I was in the middle of curling 130lbs on the EZ bar and all of a sudden my right forearm just gave out. For 6 weeks the pain was so bad that I could no do any upper body workouts what so ever. The only thing that will heal it is time, don't bother with any tablets. I think the forearm pain is a result of the biceps being too big for the forearms. Ever since last year, I've added two forearm exersizes at the end of my bi workout and it hasen't botherd me since. My advice to you- curl very very light with high reps or just skip the bi's for a few weeks and nail the back.
