    extreme neckpain: what should I do?

    Cause: while working on my "deadlift" routine.

    Thanks, some ice really did help. Should i continue to perform more deadlifts or should i drop it from my workout routine in the next coming wks since I am really proned to that kind of injury&pain?

    Drop the weight and perfect your form to reduce the chances of restraining the same muscles. Don't max out with deadlifting. Keep the weight at whatever you can do for 4-6 reps. I don't max out of DLs because of my lower back

    advise considered but his the implication most experience bdders tend to suggest that if u want massive gains, then u have to gradually lift your weights up, of course, at the right form to prevent injury. Presently I' am in situation to get out of plateau but the on&off pain is hindering my progress. Otherwise I got the energy and strength to go all the way. lol
