small tear in rotator cuff and labrum

over teh last 6 months-8 months i can even do a pushup with out pain. i have full range of motion but any pressing exercise and teh pain hurts. what is the recovery time for someone with small tears in both of these areas? i can still do pull ups and other exercises so im optimistic about my novemeber 9th surgery. when will i be able to at least do pushups with no pain?

You mean how long after surgery until things dont hurt anymore? depends on too many factors, rehab if the surgery is successful etc.

i just had surgery 2 months ago and still don't have full rom. i'm in rehab and they got me doing 5lbs dumbell bench presses and it is a little uncomfortable. just do as the doc says and you will recover faster than trying to push threw the pain. like i tell people, i will heal in no time, if i push to hard i might tear it again and be out longer.

I have the same problem but have been pushing through the pain for months. I recently started using DSMO gel and the pain is almost gone. first thing that has ever helped and I did PT, massage therapy and pain meds.

Google it, there is a lot to read on it. I'm still using it and liking it. I got it at my local vitamin shop and it does work.
