    My thoughts on injury

If youre trying to keep up with those low to mid 20 year old guys when youre getting close to 40 good luck, lol! The older we get the more carefull we need to be.

Everyday I spend more and more time stretching my muscles to aviod injury for all muscle groups. We have to guys. Also, I have been using glucosamine for the past few months and it has been working great. When I feel strong and attempt to lift heavier I do so with no problem. In the past I would jump up too fast and end up pulling or straining something and need to take a few extra days of rest because of the pain. No body wants to miss going to the gym, lol!

Just some of my personal thoughts. C-ya!!

From an Orthopaedic sports medicine stand point you are 100% correct POP,But the hardest thing to get through to these old guys is accepting. Accepting that your body doesnt do the things it did when you were 18,Accepting that it takes longer to recover,Accepting that its more important to FEEL the muscle working rather than just "Movin that f**kin weight!" I have been training with a man thats 61 and he is natural always has been always will be,we focus on feeling the muscle work rather than momentum taking control. You would be amazed at how big this man is!! He has and always be my inspiration to aging!! Great post! TOP

I remember back in the day " increase your bench by 50 lbs in 14 weeks" I cannot remember the logistice about it. All I remember I was 22 and got my max to 285! Nothing hurt, I ate like crap, did no cardio. Just lifted to get big! Now, I the closest thing to 285 is spotting someone, lol!

I have accepted the fact that I am older than the guys that I train with by atleast 10 years but Im fine with that. But they know that I can hold my own as well...
