I did the tougest bicep and tricep workout I have ever done 2 days ago! I woke up today and my arms were swollen and bruised, has this happened to anyone, and does it seem normal. I dont think I tore anything.

Take some advil to reduce inflammation and swelling and try some stretching although it it might be painful. Bruising is usually a sign something has torn, give it time to rest before going back in to the gym and ease back in to the workouts as well. Torn muscles are not fun, been there before......hamstring.
I appreciate the advice, if it was torn, would I still have mobility and strength, I mean I can still use it, I am not working out with it, but using at work to swing a sledge hammer.
how long should I take off from the gym, and how should I ease back into working it out again?
