    Argh my elbow

After improving my diet i'm breaking new personal records of strength again. Sadly my left elbow doesn't seem to like the new loads. I'm not on any AAS and havent done any cycles either, i'm just on creatine.

It started with a little pain and i didnt give much attention to it, now it hurts badly, i had to leave the gym today without finishing my workout, i was so disappointed at myself.

I don't want to lose my mass and strength. What should i do?

2 wks to a month off

stop doing whatever is making it hurt.. for me it was t bar rows and barbell curls

when you come back consider a wrap or sleeve on that elbow for bicep / back exercises

    Probably tennis elbow.

I took 3 weeks off and it did absolutely nothing.

Just eliminate the exercises that make it hurt, for me it is only a couple.

    Whenver the elbow feels better.

That has not happened for me yet.

It is wierd it is only certain specific movements too, others you can't even feel it at all.

Annoying but you just learn to deal with it.

I was trying to get my left arm to catch up with my right when I hurt it overtraining.

Damn I think I got tennis elbow!

It hurts the worst with precher curls/skull crushers/bench press/ and dips.

    Thanks for the answers guys

So i went to the hospital yesterday, just a tennis elbow, so they gave me anti-inflamatory directly to my vein and the pain was 70% gone in minutes! the doctor said i should rest the elbow atleast for 2 weeks and some friends told me they had the same problem with specific exercises so they just avoid them and that experience told them that no matter how much you rest your elbow, you do the same exercise and you get tennis elbow again.

In my case, it was the overhead barbell tricep extensions (with 1 barbell and 1 hand at a time behind the head), so i'll never do this exercise again and i should be fine.

Tennis elbow from bench press... that sucks man. But it can be that the tennis elbow is being caused by other exercise and not by the bench press itself.

    Thanks for the replies!

I've been resting my arms for 2 weeks but i keep training my legs, do you think i should stop training my entire body despite the problem is in my elbow?

i say this because doing deadlifts or even supporting the bar or even carrying weights to the bar for squatting may have an effect on my elbow, making my recovery slower.
