Red face Elbow pain plus pinkyfinger tingly

    Ignore the smiley face.

When I do tricep exercises single armed the back of my elbow hurts allot on db kickbacks and the inside hurts when doing pull down and now and again I get pins and needles in my small finger, I damaged my tendon in that elbow 2 years ago and went back into training light after rest and built up again but the problem with my elbow still persists.

My tricep and bicep on that arm are nowhere near as developed as the other arm and my forearm justtakes over everything and buts pumped pretty solid.

What do you guys think about this and what would be the best treatment?

I read conflicting views about ultra sound.

P.s. It doesn't hurt that much at all outside of the gym but it feels a bit weak and veryvery slightly "catchy" I've just started treatment for my shoulder too as I might have trapped nerve problem there on the same arm which I thought was originally impingement but an ultrasound scan showed no problems with that.

That is it... It is radiating from your shoulder. I had the same thing but 3 fingers where numb. It's better now with a lot of stretching, cable or light weight shoulder work and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNilld58tks&feature=fvw

yep hes right it sounds like you've pinched your ulnar nerve, lovbyts suggested rehab sounds alright... if you want to work on symmetry i would break from workout routine and concentrate on rehabbing just yr arm

Your problem is acute. This problem can be occurred for several reasons. Acute injuries can be sudden and severe. They can be caused by a direct blow, penetrating injury, fall, or by twisting, jamming, or bending a limb abnormally. Bruising and swelling usually develops from the injury, along with elbow pain. Fractures and dislocations, muscle strains, sprain, and injuries to joints and ligaments are some types of acute elbow injuries.

It is very hard to describe any treatment only listening problem. So you should go a orthopedics. You can take therapy also. When you feel pain then for immediate treatment you can take pain clear.
    Thanks
