    Diagnosed with Runners knee

So I went to a highly reputable ortho for some knee pain. Getting a moderate pain when I walk up or down steps, jump rope, kickboxing. No pain walking. But it right where the bottom of my knee cap meets the thigh bone and shinbone on the inside. He said it's a tracking issue and didnt seem too concerned. I thought a torn meniscus for sure. But he was like eh take it easy and we can Dona lubrication shot if you plan on fighting.

He said no need for an MRI. The xray tells it all.

So now I'm kind of like WTF.

Yep. HA shot for the knee. Check out my other thread called "Lube job for the knee" - Hyaurlonic Acid. Had both knees done, it's a series of three shots over three weeks. Knees feel about 80% improved.

    Other ideas:
MSM powder (5 grams / day)
    oral hyaurlonic acid

My pain is on the inside of the knee cap where the shin bone, thigh bone and knee cap all meet. And it's real sharp at times. Sound about right

Wow. Doc was on the money. He wasn't too concerned to treat it tho. My chiro is very good. I'll start there. I guess at this
point heat would be good to get some blood to the area. I have no inflammation. Zero

hey man my brother runs collegiate xc and had something similar happen as his season was winding down. he was told he could work through it without doing any damage until the season was over. he has been doing pt how and said its basically getting better but really slowly. his main point is that you should be careful not to rush it.
