When my palm is pointing to the front and I bend my elbow nothing happens, but when I twist my palm to face back (same position like doing reverse biceps curls) I keep hearing the crack sound every time I bend my elbow. It always hurts me when I do any exercise involves the elbows (bench press, biceps and triceps exercises).
I have been working out for about 10 years, I have been off for about 6 months and that's when I lost the pain in my elbows but I never lost the cracking sound.
By the way, when you touche the lateral side of my elbow when I bend it you can feel the cracking besides hearing it.
P.S: The cracking is only in my left elbow, but the pain is in both elbows but it feels little better now although I started to workout again 3 months ago. (I guess the ice helped a lot). One last thing, when I train my upper forearm (brachioradialis) and feel the pump in it, the cracking stops. These are the only few minutes when the sound goes away.
It really bothers me and I have been suffering from this for more than a year.
Thanks in advance.
