Waxed my chest for the first time

Okay im sure this question has been asked in here a million times already, but I got my housemate to wax my chest for the first time about 10 days ago and now I have a lot of red bumps on my chest.

Apparantly this is a normal reaction as new course hair grows back through the skin again but I still have a few (there were loads to begin with).

My questions are, will this reaction happen every time if I carry on waxing my chest and what can I use to reduce these red bumps?

    Cheers.

I used to wax but I just gave it up the pain isn`t worth it. I used to do it before every vacation but I just can`t justify the pain anymore especially now that I`m maried lol.

It seems to always get pretty rough for a day or 2 for me.

There's always going to be some ingrown hairs when you pull the hairs out by the root. To minimize the number of bumps you need to ex-foliate daily. If you buy one of those AXE body scrubbers there's a coarse side on the back that's great for this. Another thing you could do is after your shower use one of those green kitchen scrubbers on your chest. The point is to rub off the dead skin so that the pores are open for the hairs to come out. Doing this daily will significantly reduce the number of red bumps, but it's impossible to completely avoid them.

Personally I switched to a lady venus or whatever it's called razor. after the first few times there's no irritation and you never get any red bumps.

Anyhow. I spent ages looking into this and found some of the best resources were online forums of shemales, lol. Those guy/girls are experts are making body hair disappear... but personally 2 minutes of shaving my chest in the shower beats waxing big time.

I had my sister wax my back once. the pain wasnt so bad but it grew back so fast it was like whats the point.
I won a bet with her bf during the super bowl. He lost and had to shave my hairy man back. hahaha

The Problem with shaving is the stubble against your wife. With waxing the hair grows back softer. Take hot baths and keep your skin moisturized.

After the first 2 or so times you can wax your chest or anywhere for that matter and you will not have the bumps like the first time. This happened to me and when I did it the second time my chect was normal, just hairless. Try to use sugar to wax your body instead of those strips. its cleaner and less violent so to speak on your skin/hair.

I have never waxed before but shaved. Wearing clothing that doesn't irratate the little stubby's is best to keep the redness down or completely out.

I shave with the electric clippers. Not baby smooth, but works for me. I did Nair a bunch of my body once and it was awesome. I didn't keep it up though because it can be a bit messy.

Chest wax! :O I did it for a year, later i realised getting a tattoo was less painful.

Also remember if u have even a little of acne due to roids and u wax then they are gonna multiple like rabbits!

    Be careful.

Loved that thing until the foil came off the top and nearly opened up my nut sack

Tossed it after that and got an expensive ass electronic razor which is not in any way shape or form better for the money I spent
