    tendon strein or pulled????

i was doing dumbell shruggs like 2 weeks ago and went to drop the dumbell one of my wraps didn't come lose and it kinda pulled me down,i'm thinking i pulled some thing. my four arm is a little sore near my elbow and when i flex my bicep i cant get a full contraction.it dosen't contract enough to get hard,it dosen,t hurt..much. my grip is kinda weak.like when i'm on the cross over. i cant putt any real weight on it. i worried about not getting a full bicep contraction, any inputt would be helpful, should i try rehab with a gripper or a ball???....thx...iron matt

Try some anti inflammatory pills and some heat for a week or so, if no improvement I would suggest going to the doc because it might be something a little more serious. Right now I'm thinking a sprain. ohh and by the way STOP flexing. If doing something to a known injury makes it hurt avoid doing it for a while.

Usually the best thing to do is use ice for the first 3 days, not heat. After 3 days heat is fine.

Ice first 24 hours after injury, heat after that but an extra day or two won't kill you
