    Question about cuts...

Why do cuts on the abdomen tend to take so much longer to close/heal up?

I have had these small cuts on my abs for like 2 weeks now and they are still red and scabbed. They werent deep at all, why does it take so long for them to heal? I used neo-sporin on them everynight
