Was anyone not able to take accutane because their liver enzymes were elevated from taking AS or anything else. Thank you for amy replies.

yea, i was on accutane for 7 months. i had to get bloodwork done every month before he would right out another months perscription.. serious stuff... i dunno if the doc was just out to scare, but he advised me not to drink at all while i was on it... well, that's a no go.. so as usual i drank on the weekends, but my liver enzymes always came out good in the blood work... Others i know who were on it had to be taken off becuz of their liver enzymes being too high... So basically i think the drug effects everyone differently... my only advice is to drink plenty of water everyday, and get bloodwork done everymonth (or as your doctor advises you to)

I've used accutane while on but NOT at the recommended dosages that the doc will tell you. At that level it will cause serious problems. I used it every 3rd or 4th day, maybe twice a week at most, and at 20mg each time. This will keep all acne away, at least under the skin and away from sight. But this will not hurt your bloodwork while you are on the sauce.

hay im on accutane and i drink allthe time and ive talked to sooo many different people who tell me diff. things, like u can drink, u cant drink, and about the juice i asked my doc and he said, that taking accutane while juicing is only going to make the acne worse and nothing more! i mean i was expecting a "ur gonna fuck ur liver!" but thats all he said
