Well, there are different ways. Most people do a 40/40/20 split. Or something close to that. (Mine's about 45/45/10) Some do carb cycling. There's also keto or CKD (Cyclic ketogenic diet). Are you cutting or bulking?
Going to do a cut first. I am Probably around 18% bf. (guessing) slight definition on the top 2 abs. But the love handle make a good portion of fat. Would the 40/40/20 work or should I try more protein? I do workout at least 5 days a week and cardio 4/week. My diet isn't that bad. Just never really counted macros.
Have you ever tried an IF diet? It's great for fat loss while preserving LBM. You can do a 40/40/20 while you're on IF. I'm doing IF even though I'm on a lean bulk but Slfmade is doing IF on a cut and he's already getting great results. Do some research on it and maybe you'll like it. (People who don't like to eat 6-7 times a day like IF because you only eat about 3 times.) If you're cutting I would recommend doing 5-6 days of cardio and you're definitely going to need to count calories and macros.
I am deff gonna check into the IF diet. Never heard of it. (I'll google it or check around forums). I am sick of cooking 6 meals a day. Thanks for the heads up.
