    Is minoxidil worth it?

Wondering what kind of experience you have had with minox?

47 years old started on TRT beginning of March. Started finding lots of my hair in bathroom floor and sink about 2 weeks after starting treatment. Started on Minox 2% just to see if it would help. Noticed last week I was still finding plenty of hair in bathroom- maybe not quite as much but still a lot so went to 5% version a couple of nights ago. Noticed eye area and part of face puffy in the am when I wake up now plus back of scalp really starting to itch.
    Is Minox worth the trouble?

It does work, slightly, but for me it was a weak effect. I used the 5% strength for 8 months and it even grew back some hair on my hair line. Only problem is my blood pressure went apesh!t and I was having constant palps. I dont think its worth it in the long run man. Its like putting a band aid on a broken arm.

I always run finasteride on TRT. Its cheap and it stops my scalp from itching. Minoxidil has never done much for me.

You should watch out, it may actually cause hair loss, it's one of the possible side effects of the label, and it's really only for the bald spot in the back, not for a receding hair line that i've got.
