Hey guys, got some knee pains lately. Kinda weird pains like when I straighten out my leg my knees hurts in the back inside with a sharp pinch and when I bend it hurts above the cap slightly outside.
History: never had any sports injury at all, but suffered aching knees as a young boy, for several years. Mostly at night.
Also had vericose vein removed on right leg couple years back, when I was 20. Young - I know. No real reason. Healed well. Never had issues after that.
Anyone shed some light on the situation. Feels like sh!t and I havent been able to work legs in about 2 weeks

Sounds like it might be a ligament. I've had meniscus problems in both knees and that is generally in the front below the cap on either side. If it is a torn ligament the last thing you want to do is make it worse. Better get it checked out. Stationary bike is pretty knee friendly on a low level.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably get it checked out soon. I hate the doctors tho, they always say things like "not much u can do, take advil" which pisses me off. Don't enjoy eating advil all the time for aches and pains. I'd rather identify the root of the problem and solve it

Have your dr refer you to an orthopedic dr. Depending on your insurance some PPO's let you self refer. For my hernia surgery I was able to choose my own surgeon with no dr referal. So check with your insurance first and tell them, or your dr, you want to see an orthopedist,or even a knee specialist. I can tell you though that the normal protocol is physical therapy first for 6 weeks. Push for an MRI at first and don't go in there saying "well it's really not that bad" this will get you x-rays and more anti inflammatories.
