Our gym has a shitty seated calf raise machine normally i do a standing calf raise using the smith machine or something similar but thought id give the seated one a go...
Went about it as per normal in a proper position 3rd set 9th rep my quad muscle felt a kind of click in it almost like a muscle was pulled out of position of moved out of place... now its sore to touch and move,
'The calf machine has a small cushioned pad that sits over your quads but the total area that the weight sits on is fairly small'
Any one have any advice would be awesome
