irritating hips
so about every other time i train legs i tweak something in my hips usually my right but sometimes the left.. any ideas on some exercises to help strengthen my hips??? or to help avoid further injury?? i love to go heavy on leg day and this is not a serious injury just getting annoying.. i always stretch as much as i can ..

Sorry cant help much. I have only had my hips sort of tweak or hurt a couple of time but it never lasted long, only a day or two. Just another hitch in the ole giddy up.

It's difficult to know what exactly is wrong with you without actually examining you. The majority of athletes I see that have pain in their hip while, lets say squatting, have weak glute muscles.
In these cases the athletes have over developed quads and under developed glute muscles.
Stretch the quads and strengthen the glutes. Again, it would be a good idea to have a knowledgeable pt take a look at you to identify possible muscle imbalances.

are you stretching back butt legs enough? you mentioned you stretch but I have noticed that guys seen to usualy just glaze over the stretches, and do just a few of the very basic moves that hit just the large areas, not the smaller supporting mucsels
