Returning to training after a rotator cuff injury, advice needed

Hey, so after taking the advice from this forum, taking another solid 6 weeks of time off, and gradually beginning rotator cuff exercises after a strain, I'm nearly back to 100%, three full months after my initial injury.
I'm just wondering what the best way to get back into training would be, regarding military press, etc?
Ive decided to completely drop BB bench press, I'm getting back into MMA and dont really see it as much of a benefit anymore, and Id rather not risk repeating the injury.
Any tips would be awesome, but thanks so far for the help I received.

Most people tend to stick with incline and decline bench especially after injury and using DB is also easier due to elbow positioning.

Keep doing what you are doing especially a lot of warm-up, band work, cable work etc. It took a long time for my right shoulder to get better but definitely doing cable work a couple time a week helped it a lot. Unfortunately it didn't help my left shoulder and I had to have surgery on it.

Even when you feel 100% keep up with rotator exercises. After my workouts I add in my PT exercises, especially my externals when my shoulders are already warm. seems to keep the problems away.

I finish all chest and shoulder workouts with rotator cuff exercises. After the left being torn twice and a torn labrum and the right torn 3 times I do the exercises without fail. I never had surgery. My doc was the shoulder specialist for the Atlanta Falcons and he felt they could be fixed with therapy. Probably only the second doctor I've ever been to that I felt was totally competent in his practice. Each time took 6-8 months to fully heal but both shoulders feel great today.

And TR turned me on to MSM and it definitely helps. 5 grams a day does the trick.

Sounds familiar. My doc is the lead surgeon for Seattle Seahawks and Mariners and wanted me to do PT and not surgery. It helped my right shoulder but my left didnt get better. After an MRI with contrast we decided to do the surgery since it had been almost a year with only a little progress. After the surgery he said OMG he had never seen that much damage the MRI didn't show and how I was not in a lot more pain.

I warm up with rotator cuff exercises and also in-between routines.

I'm using the TB-500 in part of my recovery and I think it's starting to help also.
