Question Can you maintain a mtll tan and for how long?

How long can you run this for and if you tan like 3x a weekin the sun after discontinuing it can you keep the tan? I play sports and could play shirtless to tan. I would run this in the winter because of lack of sun.

My wife and I indoor tan. We use the shot everyday until we get the base we are looking for then we go down to a maintance shot of 3 times a week. If you stop taking it all together after getting your desired color and still tan in takes up to 6 weeks to go away.

What the OP is asking about is Melantonan 2 which is a peptide that promotes skin pigmantation when used with ultra violet rays. All the info is right here my friend.

I've always been addicted to tanning especially during the summer. However, I'm in my 40's now and have noticed suttle changes in my skin. As a result, I go once a week for a spray tan and try my best to avoid the sun. What I don't like about the spray tans are every week it seems to be different. One week I feel like I a pretty good tan and others times it just does not take as good as a previous tanning. Still other weeks, it appears to be a little blotchy.

The Melantonan 2 sounds like a good alternative. Just got one question, how long do you stay out in the sun with the Melantonan 2? Thanks for the great infor!

That all depends on you my friend. I tan for ten minutes in a tanning bed and then I am almost never in the sun unless it is for biking or kayaking. My job keeps me indoors. I get a nice base just from this. If you stay in the sun longer you will get darker the more you use it. I enjoy using the stuff and try to use it before bed so I sleep through the nausea it can give me. But even then it only last for an hour or so.

I was on MT2 for over a year straight. Maintained with 2-3x weekly injections of between 0.5mg-1mg.

Alright, I was thinking maybe I get my desired tab then switch to .5mg a week or every 2 weeks to just maintain yearly. How long can you safety run this? I'll be using tanning oils to maintain tan. I will run it in the winter to keep a nice tan and then maintain till spring and summer and fall I will be off.

Just found this thread, to me protection from the sun is the main advantage of an MTII tan. I am 57 and my skin is fortunately still pretty healthy and I would like to keep it that way. Using MTII at low doses and tanning for very short periods of time allow me to maintain a skin color that I could never achieve naturally without subjecting myself to way too much sun or beds.
