Multiple injuries/ advice needed
Hi Guys,
Ive had a very unfortunate year and need some advice.
November last year 2011 I injured my left shoulder badly. I was diagnosed with a grade 5 shoulder separation. tore both ligaments completely seperating the collar bone and AC joint. did surgery to stabilise it with a metal button hooking to lower bone. The opp failed completly and I had very little use of my shoulder. The seperation this time did some damage to my SC joint (where collar bone meets chest) During the following months my posture was a mess and I was fully dependent on my right shoulder. Carrying heavy books and laptop eventually damaged my right shoulder. I was diagnosed with shoulder implingment and possible tendon damage. As well as all that other joints in my body hurt and cracked a lot. I saw dosens of GPs docs orthodics. all did x rays and said nothing is wrong. I figured fixing my left shoulder will help with everything.
6 weeks ago I did revision surgery which went well. After a few weeks cracking in my joints increased and my knee became very tender. My vision became blurred and hips hurt. I could barely stand up... urgently my docs started running test... I came out negative for any chronic joint diseases like Rhumatoid arthiritis. But my vitamin D levels were severly low and my doc says it caused me to have oseomalacia which is when low vit d causes the bones to become tender. I was given a shot of vit D which emidiately made me feel better especially with knee.. but only for a week or so and I was still feeling fatigue and get tired quickly. Also suddenly my SC joint in chest started moving and very painful.
Ive had 2 steroid cortisone shots in my right shoulder and only felt temporary relief.... my doc said not to do anymore as it could damage tissue and will not work.. will need some kind of surgery but not until my left shoulder gets better. The AC joint and collar bone stretch.. I feel that my right shoulder ligaments are stretched and have not healed at all in 4 months only became worse. It is really bad at the moment.
Before my accident I was a very active person.. Played a lot of sports, did high intensity short interval training regularly, squash, swimming etc.. and some heavy weights. Never did any steroids or HGH just some protien shakes. But I am currently in a bad situation. My life is on hold. I can't go to work and still seems a long way to recover if I ever do. I am now looking for any supps that could help me recover. I live in the UK and spoke to my docs about HGH, it seems a big taboo subject here. Im starting to do a lot of research on anabolic steroids and HGH but there doesnt seem to be any solid info on how it could benifit someone in my situation.
Im currently taking glucosomine, multi vitamins, and omega 3 supps. They don't seem to be doing anything but I will continue to take them as I need any support even if small.
Anyone on here experience taking HGH or anabolic steroids after injuries or surgery or for recovery purposes? Last thing I need is side effects that could make things worse. at them moment I am desperate and need something to help recover. I have gained a lot of weight and had major muscle wastage. Its all having a major impact on my psychological state.
On a side note.. when I asked my Rhuemataologist about HGH... her answer was stay away from it (no good reason to why lol) but she said speak to your GP about getting on anti depressants. I just think that is the worse advice ever. My problem is physical and once I start getting better physically I will feel better emotionally. Last thing I need now is to get hooked on anti depressants that have messed up side effects. LOOL After meeting with dosens of doctors I've concluded they are all twats... When I first started expereincing joint pain.. one doctor told me this is muscle strains.. idiot.
What I need is soemthing to help repair damaged ligaments tendons, and generally connective tissue as well as improving muscle growth. what do you guys suggest?
any feedback from you guys is much appreciated.

Hey Rom, thanks for the reply. Never heard of Tb500. Will read your journal and do my own research as well.
Hope you are recovering well.
