pain in middle forearm when I drop weight?

When I pick up weight as in anything over a kilogram or two my arm hurts while I lift it but as soon as I drop it the pain increses? Any advice? It occured after doing some shuvel work a month ago, I haven't done much since I hurt it but I want to get back into the gym, it has gotten slightly better since I've rested it but not fully, any ideas how to speed things up,
I don't want to start working out and put my arm back as bad as it was, there's no bruisin or swelling and it's more like tendants than muscle

Rest, Ice, NSAID's. Pick up a tennis elbow strap. Wearing mine now as mine's starting to hurt as well.

Could be a compression fracture? It can happen over time putting heavy loads on a certain bone.

It happened to me once while i was doing muay thai, getting my forearms kicked so repetitively through the pads and after a while it'd hurt to pick things up/lift myself using my arm and would hurt even when i stopped doing what hurt it.

Best to speak to a doctor/get a professional opinion face to face.

Thanks for your replys folks, this isn't my first time for this to happen the first time was about 3 year ago after a work out with some weights it began to trouble me, after a month or two it sorted its self out, getin an xray tomoro so hopefully il get sum answers hopefully it's notin major,

I would say either a stress fracture or you pulled a muscle or ligament depending where in the forearm. Get your xray and talk to your doc and go from there. But you should rest it until you get the results.

Report back please. I'm betting on inflammation in the radialis, especially with your description of increased pain upon releasing the weight.

No bother I will, If it is that, what's the procedure for healing do you know??

Rest, ice, avoid movements that hurt. The aforementioned tennis elbow strap greatly helps me. Wear it all day, not just when working out.
