    As I get older

As I get older everything starts to hurt more. The only way I feel I can stop this is by working out more. I feel great during my workout, but my recovery is more painful now compared to when I was younger. Anything out there to help with this? I don't care if it hurts. Part of the game. Just wish I could rebound quicker.

Especially with my lower back after deadlifts.

Go get blood work done. Possibly low T/elevated E2/low E2 or a myriad of other issues causing your aches/pains.

Maybe add some taurine daily. I had to give up the deadlifts due to my sciatic nerve. But the taurine seems to be helpful with pain and cramps .

One aleve can provide all day relief.

Seriously though, OdinsOtherSon had good advice. Do you take fish oil, glucosamine, or BCAA's? All help my Dad out (57).

There's your answer ^^. Beyond that I've found that rest becomes far more important as we age. I switched to EOD training many years ago and could not imagine going back. I'm fresh for every workout and look forward to them more as well.

At 45 I have had to change the way I tackle my training. I have realized that even small things like changing the width of my grip has made a significant difference in not having shoulder pain and also cycling my training......no one can go balls to the wall year round.....at least I can't. I have found that cycling my training has allowed me to achieve more without dealing with injuries. I would like to add that DMSO can be helpful for some joint relief....take care

I had terrible tennis elbow. Kelkel suggested DMSO and it worked wonders. I also used castor oil packs nightly for about 2 weeks. All gone!

Op is 35. Seems too young for level of PWO pain!
