the title is intended to be provocative, but i have already had one hip replaced, have scheduled the other for replacement and know that some day i will need a shoulder replaced all a result of osteoarthritis.
y wife just told me about biocell collagen (bcc) and i searched for some clinical studies to understand if there was any proof that bcc provided any benefit for oa. i found:
Effect of the novel low molecular weight hydrolyzed chicken sternal cartilage extract, BioCell Collagen, on improving osteoarthritis-related sympto... - PubMed - NCBI
this is convincing enough for me to add bcc to my supplement mix. i'm not sure what dosage i'll start with, the study was 2g/day.
i'd appreciate any inputs/experiences related to bcc (for or against).
