Pierced nerve or bicep tendon, how to heal?

Im now getting worried as I read on google search engines people report this to be common malpractice where nurse pierces a nerve and nobody wants to take responsibility there after, and piercing nerve sometimes results in year long healing and could worsen as time goes plus most never heal if its a severe case, now I am just pissed so badly about this. as I type my arm is having some funny-bone tingling and electric-shock like sensation, fuckin ridiculous

any ideas anyone how to make this thing heal quick? I know that my gym routine that involves pull movements are now being suspended big time till after I get some serious healing taking place...

IM, thinking of where I usually get my blood drawn she could have hit your biceps attachment/insertion on your radius, that might explain the difficulty flexing the biceps. But the triceps issue confuses me, unless you are referring to difficulty grasping.

The initial pain/tingling down into your hand certainly could be nerve related, or again maybe she just stuck the living fuck out of your radius and it radiated down that way.

Your on what, day 3 now - is it improving slightly? Can't see how a needle prick could cause tendon damage. Maybe it is more of a bone-bruise.

Any bruising or swelling?

I had this one time but not near as bad as you're describing. It was noticeably painful a few hours after drawing blood. Just a deep dull ache. I did the usual treatment of alternating ice and heat. It didn't get better for about the first 3 days or so. Then it took almost a month before I didn't notice it anymore. I had no bruising or anything external showing any injury. That's the only time this has ever happened. Give it time man. It'll get better.

I've responded on marcus thread already, but to add, I seem to have it worsen as time goes. She didnt go deep enough to hit the bone/joint but Im not sure either.... If I need to turn the door knob or unlock the doors I get damn painful sensations pulsing trough my arm ... It may be random/hybrid damage... I dont know for now what it is, just assume that it is radial nerve damage

So what are your symptoms? and post a pic where she stuck you. Unless you have a normal variation in radial, or ulnar nerve location. I can't imagine she hit one of those two nerves.

Its just a bit of vein damage, it can be painfull for a couple of days.

Nothing else could have happened.
