Arthritis in knees/cycle
Hi, Hoping someone can help me out. I have osteo verified with mri.
I currently take 1cc 300 mg of Deca and Enanthate each weekly.
Deca helps but puts on too much weight.
I play VB and do not want to stop even though it is painful.
My question is - what cycles would one recommend to help with my knees and keep my weight down.
I am 5'11 210. I would love to be in the 190s
thanks!

Deca doesn’t put on weight…. Your diet does.
Deca may cause some water retention, but your diet will also help determine that.
Any AAS can be used in cutting. Your diet determines weight loss or gain. 300 mg is not that much… basically HRT levels.
I have a bad case of arthritis in my knees and I get cortisone shots when I can.
You are only talking about 20 lbs. Dial in your diet.
What is your BF%?

thanks for the response. My dieting is fine. My point of the post was asking what would be the best steroid to take for arthritis. I may have rambled a bit about other shit LOL

Like Charger mentioned consider cortisone shots or there's another Kel gets. I think the name is Zilretta. But anyway, Kel really gets relief from the injections.
Deca is good for the joints, but it's not magic (I wish it was). I get some pain from C-spine surgery and I will say NPP seems to be my favorite over Deca, just because it gives relief quicker and clears the system quicker. My Dr always orders the ECLIA panel for my TRT labsThere are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Ah yes, that could hammer the knees pretty good...
OP, are you using curcumin / turmeric? It helps with joint pain, not like deca is going to, but every little bit helps.Last edited by Cylon357; 03-23-2022 at 07:55 AM.

Are you running 300 mgs deca or is that deca / test combined? As you don't need 300 mgs for joint assistance. Less is more in your circumstance.
As AG mentioned above. Talk to your ortho about Zilretta. It's a long lasting cortisone shot that I feel is amazing. I've been using it for several years now.

BPC-157 is suppose to help, but you should do your own research. If your knees hurt, I’d recommend incorporating some knee rehab exercises every workout. Kneesovertoesguy is popular right now

Bpc-157+HGH+var
Throw in omega 3,vitamin C and tumeric as well .
Havnt tried hgh or var as of yet but even bpc alone helps with joints.
I myself have had some joint problems and come to find igf levels are on the low side.
Didnt have problems until my 30s which makes sense as age is withering away into the sunset.
Combined it should do pretty good since bpc is an up-regulator of hgh.

Low dose TRT, helped me immediately with fat loss. A few years ago I tried and found HGH very helpful as well for reducing fat. How old are you and how severe is the degeneration (per your MD’s findings)? If you’re emphasis is playing volleyball as long as possible, 190’s is still too heavy & taxing to your knee(s).

Interesting discussion. Thanks for sharing your experiences, guys. I have knee osteoarthritis and look for ways to treat it and have the possibility to do sports without issues. Recently, I've read about nSTRIDE injection on this site. It is supposed to be one of the latest biologic regenerative treatments used in treating knee osteoarthritis. Does anyone know anything about it? Did anyone try it?
