    Knee Twist....Ouch!

My knee has been hurting lately.

When my foot is planted and i twist my body ever so slightly, i get a sharp pain underneath the knee cap in the joint area. It feels like the pain is coming from just under the knee cap.

I get the same sharp pain when i fully extend my leg and flex it and hold.

I also get the same pain when extend my leg and put the full weight of my body 6.3, 210lbs on one leg. Again, i feel a sharp pain underneath my knee cap.

Anyone know what this could be?

Is pain centralized or does one side of the knee cap hurt more? You may have simply briused it (patellar bruising)... If pain is located to one side or the other it could be a slipped or torn ligament (ACL, MCL, ATF) or a combination of both...

    Thanks Fit....

No....the pain seems to be directly underneath or inside knee cap.
