Front deltoid pain only while doing wide pull ups?

Not sure what's going on but this is the second back workout session where I've noticed left front deltoid pain only while performing wide overhand pullups. The pain is not severe but it is noticeable.

I thought maybe it was my form but I was particularly careful to ensure it was proper.

No pain when switching to neutral grip pull ups. No pain when doing lat pull downs or seated rows.

Not sure what is causing this.

I did shoulder workout this week already and everything was fine.

Its only during overhand pullups. Very weird.

Anyone have a clue what could be the cause of this?

    -Cheers

Sounds like possibly a bicep tendon issue. Maybe out of the groove or some ac joint inflammation.

although it took me too long to figure it out, but knowing the difference between good pain and bad pain is huge for sustaining your body. and i've found grip is one of the biggest knobs to control pain. i do all of my heavy back lifts now with a neutral grip, and recommend such highly.

Thanks fellas. Yea it was weird. I have stopped doing pullups altogether for the time being. I don't want to risk an injury, especially in the shoulder.
