    Hernia op recovery

Now then brothers, riddle me this...
Brief timeline of events, long cycle, competed, went on holiday and did some tendon damage arm wrestling, could only train legs for a month, then it was hernia op and now I can't lift anything under docs orders for another four weeks, then i could have a week in the gym but then another holiday, and I had planned another cycle after this holiday but I fear not being up to full strength before starting a cycle could be problematic. Thoughts please. Delay cycle until up to full strength naturally ??

I had a hernia repaired back in 1987. Only missed a week of work and about 3 weeks out of the gym. With this being said I "felt" the repair for at least a year. My doc said i could not damage what he repared however the area takes at least 12 weeks to heal properly. You'll feel the tightness and hardness in the repaired area for over a year. No problems since. I'd personally hold off awhile until you feel comfortable pushing hard. You'll probably have the tendency to baby the area so no need to waste a cycle if you can't hit it all out. Just my opinion.

    That ^^^.

I had one repaired laparoscopically years ago. Put a screen in. I asked him to just put one in on the other side while there just in case, he said no......
