1) You said you started experimenting with steroids at 19. At what age did you learn that your body stopped producing its own testosterone , hence having to start TRT?
2) Did your body stop producing natural test due to your lack of knowledge / implementation of proper PCT, or did you incorporate proper PCT but got shutdown anyway?
Thanks JCLast edited by Trying-Hard; 08-27-2012 at 09:43 AM.

Jose,
First thanks for your candid manner and taking the time to add your knowlege and experience to our community.
Something I have always been curious about, as a seasonal athlete, IE one who has to perform for an entire season, not just hit peak condition for a single event. Did you actually do steroid cycles or did you use pretty much constantly throughout the season,,,or guessing from your previous video Did you start midseason as the wear and tear of the season took its toll and you felt the need to "repair" your body?
Thanks in advance.

Question: Steroids at the age of 18+
Reason: i know its a debated question and is preached not to use AAS under 25 but i wanted to see what your view on it was.
Much Appreciated,

And was "experimenting" at 19 was it orals, injections, "on" for just a few weeks then "off"? And when did you learn how to cycle correctly? And did that include a PCT? If so, what was your PCT?
I ask for two reasons. One, i want to know you're personal experience, obviously. And two, because we have a lot of questions regarding AAS use from people typically between 19 and 24 years old and we try to educate them on the risks involved of starting at such an early age. Would like to hear your thoughts on that as well.
Thank you

Not an AAS question for Mr Canseco, but: Back in May of '93 I went to a Boston Red Sox game for my 13th birthday to watch them play the Texas Rangers. I don't remember a whole lot about the game, other than the Sox were up quite a few runs. However, I do remember with crystal clarity, a certain slugger taking the mound against the Sox late in the game(7th or 8th inning?)! At the time I went wild, because truth be told, you were my favorite heavy bat in the 80's even though I was born and bred in Red Sox country. My question is: Whose idea was it for you to throw the ball that day? Was it a position you always wanted to play, or was it just for fun? Thanks for all the great baseball memories!

He's on TRT now. Does he ever combine other compounds w/his TRT? If so, what?
Could he give an estimate on how many MLB Players have used AAS?

I use to have a giant 40-40 man poster over my bed, and was very excited when you became a Red Sox! I tell you this cause I don't want to sound rude, So my question is. Why did you write that book? I think you know what I am getting at!

What about steroids and movie stars? You see some people look insanely different than normal for some roles, understandable they can do a lot with the camera but some of these people are juicing. Wouldn't mind it as a topic if you have some insight and information in to what's going on in hollywood with regards to anabolics.

Regarding HRT, what compounds do you take and how frequently? (GH, Cyp or gels, HCG , any AI to control estrogen?) Are there any additions to your regiment that you think are a must? (B12, DHEA, Pregnenolone, D3, etc.?)
Also, how frequently do you run labs to manage your protocol? Is there a certain range you aim for with your total serum, free test, & E2 assays. Any other labs that you pay close attention to (SHBG, Thyroid Panels, CBC's, etc.)?
Thank you for your blogs!

Here is a subject I woud like to see for Jose to spend an entire episode on, with no Q & A. Since so many of us who use AAS have friends and family concerned with all of the negative press, I would like to see Jose explain the pros and cons(not many I am sure) and give his insights as to what he thinks on the subject. I have never missed an episode, and I will never miss one. That being said, I know he has covered these issues in past episodes, but it is hard to get a wife, parent, friend, etc to sit down and watch so many videos trying to find the points he makes regarding the issue of safety. I would like to hear what good they have done for him, how good they make him feel, the overall sense of well being. All of the great things AAS has done for him and what he knows they do for others. I am all for any negatives he has to share, but I would also like for him to expand his thoughts on how great they are for people who use them responsibly. This would make for a brilliant episode as it would be a tool for everyone to let loved ones watch and get the truth behind steriods . I for one have many friend and family who believe they kill you or turn you into a monster with horribel roid rage , which just isnt true. It would be awesome to see a full episode dedicated to the pros and cons without having 5 or 10 minute of Q & A and let him just let go on how they have helped so many, himself included, so that it could give people a better sense of what they are actually about and put them in a better light other than what the media portrays them out. Thank you for these awesome episodes!

Maybe I missed it. But is the series over? Or taking a break or something. I know there are the holidays to deal with, but I check back occasionally to see if he's got back into it since thanksgiving. Just kind of curious if there will be more or if I can stop going to his video page looking for updates.

I'm a college pitcher 6"1 196 lbs and was thinking about using anavar to help throw harder. I do have an insane work ethic, and I did my research on it, and seems safe to take as an oral, prob gonna take milk thistle for liver protection. I was gonna take winstrol , but found out about the joint problems it causes, and learned that anavar is a good substitute for it. Im prob going to a 6 week cycle for my winter off season. Give me your thoughts and suggestions?

Is this thing over?

I'd like to see him talk about female usage his thoughts on it, the different degrees of female usage, the negative stigma associated with female usage and why people have the belief it turns women into men.
