Liked his raw, no holding back side, telling the email guy that he's an "idiot". Jose is right, the majority of these naysayers were the ones glued to the tube, rooting for the records to be broke, and wanting to see just how far he will hit it out of the park tonight. Guess that's just nature of the beast in the world today!

And there's truth about each era having it's own demons if you call it that. Go back to Babe Ruth, and wasn't he drinking like a fish with more women than any other athlete of his time? At least steroid use promotes healthy choices and training to help an athlete reach their ultimate potential in a competitive setting.

The only thing I would comment further on new steroid users that Jose tapped on ... Not only keep it in moderation, but IMO the best starting cycle for a guy who is ready might just be sticking with testosterone only.

Yeah there is soo much biased views in baseball it's ridiculous.....Even when you look back at Babe Ruth the fact that he hit so many home runs was because The POLO GROUNDS where he started playing had a right field length around 250 ft...That's shorter then most high school right field fences and the fact that Babe was a left handed pull swing hitter even a high pop fly would go out of the stadium...Even more so, when they moved to the NEWLY BUILT "YANKEE STADIUM" in 1923 they accommodated big name Babe Ruth with another short distance right field...

Oh yeah, not to mention Ruth's bat was like a tree log which isn't even allowed in baseball today due to size regulations...List goes on and go...Let's claim the king who it really is Barry Bonds
