What are your thoughts on this Chest Workout?
My bench max is at 350 now!! I weigh 198 and I'm 21 yrs old!
This is my current chest workout...Let me have your ideas:
Flat Bench Press
Set 1: 10 reps @ 260
Set 2: 8 reps @ 275
Set 3: 8 reps @ 275
Set 4: 6 reps @ 290
Set 5: 6 reps @ 290
Set 6: 4 reps @ 310
Inclined Bench
Set 1: 8 reps @ 185
Set 2: 6 reps @ 225
Set 3: 6 reps @ 225
Set 4: 4 reps @ 245
Flat Bench Dumbells
Set 1: 8 reps @ 100
Set 2: 8 reps @ 100
Set 3: 6 reps @ 100
Set 4: 4 reps @ 100
Decline Bench
Set 1: 8 reps @ 250
Set 2: 6 reps @ 285
Set 3: 6 reps @ 285
Set 4: 4 reps @ 300
I change weekly between Flat bench dumbells and inclined dumbells and between decline bench and cable cross-overs.
Inclined Dumbell (when I switch with Flat bench dumbell)
Set 1: 8 reps @ 85
Set 2: 6 reps @ 90
Set 3: 5 reps @ 95
set 4: 4 reps @ 100
Any advice??

Set 2: 6 reps @ 225
Set 3: 4 reps @ 245
Set 4: 4 reps @ 255-265

looks like a lot of sets to me, plus I would do some flys of type.

it looks like your routine is working great for you.but i think its possible to rid of your decline totally.and you could switch up dumbells for barbells every other workout but add some type of flys:cable, dumbell, machine.that might shave a half hour or fortyfive minutes off your chest workout having the same results.i went that route.but by any means, that dosnt mean that this will work for you.why change your routine if your getting badass results? anybody else have any coments on decline benching, whether its just plain excessive or it helps to a great degree? joe

i never do flat bench it is a waste to me. concentrate on all incline. incline presses, flyes, ect. do a flat bench and decline once a month. that is just what works for me.

Looks great I don't think it's to much at all. I do al similar one as far as reps go but not so many set usually 4. however I through incline dumbell flyes and flat bency flyes with all that press it's shown some great results with me.

Looks good bro, be sure you dont stay on that workout too long, you will adapt and hit a plateau, hence you will be at the same weight same reps a year from now, you have to cycle training like you have to cycle your supplements.....good luck.......drop a pm if you want some options...
