my precontest cut!!!
i will be updating 5 days a week on this sometimes more depends anyways im 192 right now my pics are in the members pics section. im currently 14 weeks out! here is my diet i do need some help on some stuff i know the basics (burn more cal. than you eat) lol !but i need to be right on so i dont lose any size but i lose fat!
meal 1 = 2 scoops whey protein with 8 oz water also in this meal i eat 2 packages of oatmeal.
meal 2= 8 oz of chicken with green beans and small amount of peanut butter for fat.
meal 3 = preworkout meal = glass of tea (for simple carbs right before workout) and 8 oz of chicken
meal 4 = postworkout meal= glass of tea again with protein shake same as above protein shake and 2 1/2 packages oatmeal
meal 5= 9 oz chicken with green beans and 1/2 cup rice
meal 6= 6 oz of chicken this is about 2 hours before bed ....i didnt want to get alot of food in me right before i sleep.
also 15 min. of cardio after workout...i will be changing this to morning on an empty stomach at 10 weeks out!
thats it i know i need some help im not sure how many carbs i should be taken in simple and complex thats my main problem right now im taken in around 175-220 but keep in mind when i bulk i take in well over 350. but just help cause i have a good bit of time to change things ! im losing fat but i just not sure im doin it perfectly so help...oh and im on 500mg of test right now.Last edited by getbig32; 02-24-2006 at 12:05 AM.

hey guys thought i would update as of today i am 13 weeks out ,all my lifts are up and im getting leaner. never had this happen before but i have also never ran a precontest cutting cycle either im guessing as my carbs drop my lifts will also drop in the coming weeks ahead i will prob. take more pic in around 2 weeks.
yesterday this was my workout i got to the gym late so didnt have much time like 25 min.
deadlifts= 1st set= 225/10
2nd set= 315/10
3rd= 365/2
DB curls= set 1= 60/7
2=55/10
3=55/8
thats all i had time for yesterday i was so mad they closed early for some reason anywho i will hit the gym monday i will update then

I would switch to regual oatmeal not packaged to much sugars, and why are you drinking tea. But I am still learning also I am doing my first comp in april. But everything else seems to be what I am doing. Good luck

the packaged oatmeal i get doesnt have any sugars in it. but im drinkink tea just for some sugar before and after my workout seems to help me through my workout and recover alittle fast

well today i had a great workout the eca stack really helps me get the intensity up in the gym! and im still getting somewhat stronger in my lifts. which is good. i looked flat sat. didnt look so much so today but abs didnt show as good could be cause i ate right before goin to the gym and posing so...no biggie im down weight and lookin better!

workout was alright today not great . not sure why it wasnt that great but it wasnt i prob. didnt take in enough simple carbs before my workout. my quads are really starting to look alot better and abs too . today i could for sure see a deff. inprovement.

new weight as of this morning 188 and 1/2 . lifts still up and still getting stronger??? which still is surprising me but anywho everything is goin as planned. hit legs pretty hard today ...im still trainning alot like nark does cause im still able to recover fast enough. hit squats today on my 2nd excercise and got 315 for 5 reps on 2 sets so not bad considering today i did feel very drained. but overall very happy with my progress! im still 10 weeks out from my first show and 13 from my 2nd that im gonna do so still got awhile it seems.

Good stuff man... I personally don't buy into that BS whereas people associate cutting with a loss of strength.
Personally i get stronger when cutting.
Last year.. a couple weeks out from Nationals i hit a personal best of 495x1 on the dealift...
It's only the last 2 weeks out when i start to get weak.
2 weeks out due to carb manipulation (the beginning [phases of carb depletion)
the last week prior to a contest.. due to the manipulation of water/carbs/electrolytes.

thanks nark ....yeah i have hit a personal best on bench and some delt movements. i will post some pics next week. well its pretty late im off to bed. i hit the gym tomorrow , its back day ...i love it i will update after the workout.

wow my back workout was great today my lifts are through the roof. it was great and im starting to get people at the gym askin if im leaner and stuff so its great! i was 188 at the gym today

hey guys thought i would update. im still getting stronger in my lifts . this week threw up 315 on bench for 3 times without a spotter then one more rep with spot. so still getting stronger but im getting leaner also. im kinda down though cause im losing weight and i feel so small. kinda sucks. like yesterday and today i just felt so blah! but everything is right on track but just feel small. i should have pics by tomorrow
