First time Clen Cycle-Female
Today is the first day of my first ever clen cycle. I am going to post in the Female forum as they have been of much help to me.
I am 5'7 115 lbs, and about 12% bodyfat
Two weeks prior to this I was on a very high protien/low carb diet (30g/day)
and supplement 300mg Green Tea before am cardio, 1 Redline Cap at Lunch with Multi Vitamin, then before pm weights/cardio 1 Redline Cap & 500mg Taurine
For the clen diet I will still adhere to high protien, but up my carbs (60g/day)
Did am cardio- 30 min incline/treadmill- 16 oz H20
then per my research- I took
500mg Taurine
10mcg Clen (only took 1/2 pill to be safe)
w/ 8 oz. 1/2 Cal/Sugar OJ for 450mg Potassuim with only 12 carbs/50 calories
Snack-1/2 Protien Bar & 2 small handfulls of peanuts
Then had- 4carb tortilla w/ham & goat cheese, 2tbsp guacamole,1/4 cup black beans and 6oz caffiene free diet coke (I know but I love DC) w/ multi vitamin
Another 20oz H20 and 500mg Taurine
I have no side effects at all so far- I am going to take the other 1/2 of clen at around 4pm. Then I will hit the gym at 8:30 pm for upper body & light cardio.

5'7 115lb that sounds great.. why the clen ?..stick to a good diet and workout and you should be fine....just my .02

Thank you, and yes while I am lean and toned, I would like to "cut up" a little more in the abs. I have been at a plateau for about a year and have not seen any change in that area, I am always changing/rotaing exercises and upping weights and am suprisingly strong for my size. I feel that I have also plateaued in the diet area as well. I would like to see if this will help kick start the abs cutting in. I have visible abs, but only a middle row, not the ones that cut across. Also, I have heard that clen will help me build a little more lean muscle without hormone type alternatives and I know a little more lean muscle mass will help burn fat as well. I model for a living that is the reason why my body has to be "on point", most people on this forum know what it takes to be very fit and the hard work and sacrifices that go into having a great body and my routines seem normal,however to everybody else, I am considered a crazy person.-HA!!

maybe you need to change up your work out routine or eat a little cleaner. we can all make a few changes here and there..

Day2
So far no sides whatsoever. At 4pm yesterday I took the other half so Day 1 - 20 mcg. This a.m. I started off with 20mcg and am still completely fine. I have no shaking, or elevated heartrate, no cramping,I am not warm or sweating, and no increased appetite (matter of fact- I am less hungry, but I am still sticking to eating often even if I am not hungry.) I wanted to start off slow, but I read about guys who are twice my body weight getting bad shakes on this stuff, but then they tell me that about Redline and I can down bottle, no problem, then yawn. So I don't know. I am going to take another 1/2 pill at around 3pm today,as I am heading to do legs at 5pm. This will hit 30mcg's for today. My plan is now 20/30/40 and then well go up from there.

Okay- now I'm feeling it!!
Wed- took 20mcgs in the morning then another 20 at around 4pm.
Got to the gym @ 7pm and started light cardio 30min walking treadmill
Did arms- everythings fine so far, then I decided I would do a quick ab set on the incline bench, when I was done I curled up to strech my back when my abs completely seized up- Freaked me Out!! I was like I'm going to die. I quickly stopped panic mode and checked HR and then realized I was breathing okay, I figured it was an extreme cramp. I jetted out to the car, meanwhile my abs are fully contracted and I am hunched over, downed a taurine cap and 3 potassium tabs with 10 oz of H2O. Has anyone ever had that happen? It was scary. Then I guess I was still a little freaked and I could'nt sleep, kept doing pulse checks and I was at 90pbm, finally slowed to 75 and I got to sleep. I took another 20mcg's this am and just checked HR. I am at 85bpm. Is this high, or kinda where I want to be? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!-D

Yes. When I'm on clen , I get cramps in (literally) every muscle possible. Abs, serratus, feet, hands, neck, back, hips...EVERYwhere. Make sure you're drinking tons of water and keep up with the potassium. IMO, your heart rate is probably fine. I'm not sure what your goals are, but 5'7" and 115 lbs is pretty thin....why exactly do you think you need clen? If it's just that little bit of belly fat, you're better off with safer alternatives. Just an opinion, but I'd reconsider...

It will scare the hell out of you! I made that mistake went to the gym, got on the tredmill and had to stop. I got off, went and stood by the AED. You know, the machine they use for heart attack victims. Thought I was gonna die.
Oh, and the bad cramps... Thats because low carb diets dehydrate you AND clen dehydrates you as well. I always got them in my legs. Adding some carbs to your diet will help with the cramps and you will be noticing the clen working better.Last edited by chipghent; 03-25-2006 at 07:48 AM.

I hate night cramps.. wakeing up at 3am with a calf cramp...ouch...
