Quick DNP Update

Well, I started DNP this past Monday (7/10/06). Today is Thursday (7/13/06). I took 200mg on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I'm going to bump it up to 400mg shortly for 5-6 days. As for my weight loss, here is my progress

Monday......200.0 lbs
Tuesday.....197.0 lbs
Wednesday..194.0 lbs
Thursday.....192.5 lbs

So, thus far, I've lost 7.5 lbs. My diet has been solid. Because I want to preserve strength, I'm doing cardio Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on an empty stomach. I lift on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've completed 2 DNP cycles in the past (over a year ago..see my logs). Anyhow, I'll keep updating this if people are interested. If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to ask.

Yea im def interested in seeing how that works out for you. Im curious to see how much dnp works. post b4 and after pics if you have them. I have tried clen/t3 and its a good combo. although i hear dnp is so much better.

Yeah. Going on a cycle alters your lifestyle. Not only do you have to be precise with doses, but also need take all the necessary supplements to ensure a safe cycle. In addition, you need to understand you'll be sweating more than usual and in addition to the sweating comes an increased heart rate and an increase in lethargy, not to mention stomach indigestion. Sometimes I skip hanging out with friends because the sweating can be kind of embarassing, not to mention the fact that while everyone is partying and drinking alcohol, you have to drink water. I took before pictures and will post after pictures.

The blueberry yogurt and v8 provide my body with essential antioxidants.

This list doesn't include things like whey and creatine as I see those as just standard supplements. Once in a while I throw in about 200mg of caffeine for a little added boost.

After a couple more days, here is what it's looking like..

Monday......200.0 lbs
Tuesday.....197.0 lbs
Wednesday..194.0 lbs
Thursday.....192.5 lbs
Friday.........191.0 lbs
Saturday.....189.0 lbs.

So, in 5 days, I've managed to drop 11 lbs. Not too shabby thus far.

Most definitely. It's not something I implement into my daily diet, but whenever on DNP, I think V8 is a must. Great source of antioxidants and all the essential vegetables.

I just had my "cheat meal" I guess you can say. It was a little bit more than a meal, but I feel as though it was well deserved. A chicken cheese steak and 2 slices of pizza. We'll see how this hinders my weight, if any, tomorrow morning.

Well, after the weekend "indulgence" I guess you can say, I only managed to gain back one pound which was rather surprising considering I only stuck to my diet for about 4 hours of the whole weekend haha. Anyhow, this morning I weighed in at 190.0 lbs as seen below.

Monday......200.0 lbs
Tuesday.....197.0 lbs
Wednesday..194.0 lbs
Thursday.....192.5 lbs
Friday.........191.0 lbs
Saturday.....189.0 lbs.
Sunday.......---.- lbs (didn't weight myself)
Monday.......190.0 lbs.

Thus far, I've kept a constant dose of 200mg. Haven't felt the need to bump it up to 400mg because I'm seeing pretty good results. My goal for the week is to get to 185.0 lbs. or below by Friday's weigh in.

Thank you. This weekend was a bit of a disappointment as far as my eating was concerned, but today I'm back on top of things and just returned from a great cardio session. I'm glad I'm seeing decent results at just 200mg. I don't like the feeling of 400mg.

How much different do you look in the mirror? Do you feel any weaker or have less endurence at the gym?

My plan has altered. Instead of starting off @ 200mg for a few days then bumping up to 400mg, I felt as though continuing @ 200mg would be more beneficial. I stopped taking it for 3 days last week (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) because I knew I was going to be outside in some humid weather, so I didn't want to be sweating like crazy. I notice some what of a difference in the mirror. My chest is starting to take on more defintion and my abs are becoming more visible. I can also feel the difference in my clothes as pants are fitting much easier. I take my 200mg at night (usually around 11:00PM) and I feel the heat throughout the night and in the morning. It's not bad during the day. Don't really feel lethargic in the gym. I do feel a little weaker, but that's expected with my type of deit and lifting schedule.

Thanks man. I'm not 100% sure when I'll stop, but most I'll most likely go another week or so.

The only reason why this cycle is this long is beacuase I'm keeping it at 200mg. I don't want anyone to read this and think they can ride out 3-4 weeks @ 400mg+.

Thanks. As for side effects, the biggest one was the weight loss. Other than feeling warmer throughout the day and night, everything was pretty normal. Also felt a little lack of energy in the gym, but nothing too terrible.

great job keeping the logs. your starting weight is about where im starting and i hope to be getting on a 200mg cycle very soon as well (although im starting to wonder how long it really takes to get caps from only two states away). do you have any more updates, im curious to see how things have been going.
also, if you dont mind, what is your height?

Wow great read mate. Sounds like some great results. It is good to see reults without silly dosages being involved. Keep it safe!!! Might give this a try myself. Do you feel you have lost any muscle mass or strength?

Thanks. Sorry I haven't posted lately, but I've been busy with school and other things. This log was my last DNP cycle and was successful. Followed a strict diet and received great results. At the time I stopped the cycle, I felt as though I had not lost any muscle or strength.
