I was wondering if you are having any muscle cramping issues with Var when you do your MMA?
I tried a cycle of Winny last year and after two weeks I couldn't do any endurance exercises like hitting a heavy bag or running because I would get serious cramps all over especially in my lower back? Once I got off of it, the cramps went away. Have you had any similar problems?

Jartimus,
Good Job!
keep us updated on how your training is coming. i am especially interested on how it effects your MMA performance.
I am making a comeback in boxing and am planning on running some type of stack with Var in it. From what i've read fighters get some great results from it. The biggest concern I have is being able to train without severe cramps. I did read that alcohol was a no-no with winny and Var, so that may have been my problem. I drank in small amounts when I tried the Winny.
If you would post some of your MMA/conditioning routines.
Keep up the good work
Hey,
could you add your current stats also. I didn't see those.
I also am wondering how the creatine is going. I tried it last year. I think I used an older type, because I gained a huge amount of weight in a short time. 9 pounds in 2 weeks. I think it was all water weight tho. i believe that there's some out now that doesn't bloat you as bad. it did help with endurance, so I may try it again when I'm running the Var.
I'm looking for things that might help me retain a little fluid since i do have a problem with cramping, as long as I can drop the water weight quickly if I have a fight coming up. Good luck, and keep us posted

That's exactly what happened to me on the Win! It starts out as a tight feeling and it soon becomes so tight you have to stop doing any exercises. I first noticed it while i was doing the tire flip for time, and thought if I stopped that exercise it would go away. I soon started to get it when I was boxing and even while jogging! I guessed it was the "Win" so I quit taking it. A B'builder that goes to the same gym as me said that it was because the AAS loads your muscles with Glycogen or something. That's the reason for the incredible pumps, but will effect your endurance. That's a terrible problem for us!
Man I hope it ain't the Var in your case. I was really hoping i could use it to help me get close to my old weight class. I want to make a run at a National title this year and really need to drop back to 178 to be competitive at that level. You are taking a really small dose too.
Are you running any Clen, Lipo, or hydroxycut? That really dehydrates me and causes cramps.
Good luck and keep us posted.

I may need to try the on off cycle thing if I have the same problem again.
It may be something the body may develop a tolerance to after a while on a cycle. You may stop cramping. I don't have nearly enough experience to tell though.
Anybody else think the cramps will go away after a while?

sounds good. let me know how it goes. My Var should be in next week. I hope i don't cramp up from it or at least devleop a tolerence to it.
Jartimus:
hows the cycle going? Haven't heard from you in a few days. Are you still having back problems?

jartimus;
How is the on off cycle going. I just started the var and am about 4 days in. I have a stupid cold and really have felt under the weather, so workouts have been sparse. I have boxed once and ran for 1 hour along with some weights with no back cramps. I do feel kinda tight back there today though. I am going to hit the gym today even though I feel like sh*t, I'll let you know how the back feels.
Jartimus,
where did you get the information on pulsing? I would like to check that out.

the muscle pumps are a pain in the arse! it makes you wonder how pro fighters deal with that. Do they just work on strength and speed while on the gear, and then try to get into shape after their off cycle? I'm not sure how much endurance training they can do ex, running, grappling, boxing if they also cramp up from steroids.

Interested in this.. I train MMA recreationally and are interested in your results..
bump for scrappy
I am in the same boat as you. Neen training since I was 23, am now 31 and recovery is not nearly the same. I waas just wondering why you bumped up the Var from 20 when you said 20 was giving great results. I know 20 seems low, but if you're getting results, why bump up?
