    Fact for fad

Im full of all sorts of questions tonight.
It seems like everyone in town has gotten on this Isogenx kick and they are looking tremendous amounts of weight, say they feel terriffic and they look amazing. I have read a lot about it and although im not a fan of any liquid diet, this seems to be amazing for those who use it.
I was just wondering if any of you have heard about it and have an opinion. Im not looking to loose weight but it does interest me.

Never heard of it, then again i dont pay attention to cosmo or people magazine who swear to have the latest and greatest fat burning method of the stars! Haha. Anyways, if by liquid u mean that ur only taking in liquid and no solids and calling it a diet id say no deal. Sounds like you would be starving ur body and eating up muscle tissue. Muscle does weigh much more than fat so loosing large amounts of muscle tissue would make the scale say u weigh less. Again, stick to the basic diets that have been around for years and away from the fads imo. Not saying what ur describing is a fad since i dont know what it is, only what u r describing.

Also, since ur asking about a diet i would think this question would better be answered in the "Diet" section of this board, not the "member's cycles" section. Sure u would get more help there.

A guy at my gym is a rep for Isogenix, he's in shape more athletic than anything else, not big. Anyway he pimps this stuff to obese people looking to lose alot of weight. The system has a cleansing startup that is supposed to detoxify your body etc.

When I looked over the program, I saw that I would have to order 2 of everything or eat 2x the stuff to get my protein intake. I believe this stuff is just another weight loss fad like all the others. There is no magic pill, unless you are morbid obese and get bariatric surgery. Nothing wins over good diet, supplements and exercise.
