First Cycle TestE/Dbol (echo.. echo echo..)
Little background:
28 y/r, been working out for 5 years. 6'2", 175lbs. NOT a body builder, just a guy that likes to go to the gym, work out and see the results. I had planned to run a cycle last year, but decided to spend one more winter lifting and eating. gained about 2lbs of lean over the last year, and again ready.
My diet is extremely solid (it's a life style) and I have no problem working out 4-5 times a week.
My goal is 15lbs of lean mass, with as little sides as possible. I have chosen a short cycle. (I expect min of 20, hopefully keep the 15)
Testosterone enanthate 400mg e7d wk1-6
Dbol 20mg ed wk1-4
HCG 1000IU e7d wk1-6
arimidex 1mg ed wk1-5, 0.5mg ed thru wk6
PCT start 10days after last test injection
Clomid 300mg day1, 100mg day2-7, then 50mg ed x2wks
Nolva 40mg ed wk1, then 20mg ed for 2wks
Comments/suggestions? I am going to call my guy today for the gear. Do I need HCG on the shorter cycle? I don't care too much about test-shrinkage. Only real side that worries me is hair loss, and of course excessive acne.
Another side note, I am low/normal Test. My doc put me on TRT for 6 months a 3 years years ago, and I instantly gained weight and kept it. I decided that TRT wasn't for me (the only positive side effect was the muscle mass gain). But I know I respond well.

I`m thinking you need to work on your diet but still why not be on trt if it was prescribed?

first off i would go back to the doc!! your cycle looks o.k. but i would recommend the test be run for around 8-10 weeks most guys will say 10-12 or even 14. i have run 6 weeks, but with short acting esters in them(test prop. and sust 250) and 6 weeks is just when it starts getting good. good luck bro

Pretty slim according to your stats. Sounds like your diet needs the most attention, possibly your training regimen too. Anyways, extend the duration of E. If you research long esters you'll know 6 weeks of Enanthate is weak. Whats the reason for 300mg of Clomid? Is that much really necessary or is this just dosages you've read other people doing online?

Yeah cycle is too short and way too much adex. Long esters need to be ran a minimum of 10 weeks. I would use a bit more dbol too.

originally I had planned to run more TestE, and thus more inhibitors. I realize I need to dial that back a bit.
The reason I chose to not continue TRT was that my doc specifically noted it was "optional". After the 6 months, the only real change was the body mass, and it wasn't worth the cost and hassle for the 'rest of my life' at this point. My libido and other common symptoms of low test were not present.
ive read a little bit about these shorty cycles even with long esters and seeing good results. But I am not apprehensive toward lengthening it, esp if things are going well.
My diet is solid, but that doesn't mean enough calories. When I really pound down the calories ( i only eat veggies/chicken/tuna, a little red meat and a protein shake here and there etc) I am lucky to gain 2lbs of fat for every 1 lb of muscle, except when I was on TRT (and at the high side of normal).
I am hoping to shift that paradigm with this cycle, really put the calories down and gain an acceptable volume of muscle vs fat.

It takes 5 weeks for Test E to peak so running it 6 weeks is almost useless. I`m not sure where you got your info.

heh. Well, I just found out the guy I had planned to get the gear from is not around anymore. So perhaps I will be waiting a bit longer.
It varies a little, but yesterday:
Only supp I take right now is a multi, and whey protien
Whole wheat muffin with ham and peanut butter.
4 egg whites
Can of tuna on bread for a snack
6in sub on wheat, ham double meat no cheese all veggies.
Banana for a snack, and a protein shake before the gym, or right after depending on when i work out in comparison to my last meal
another 6" of the above sandwhich (started as a foot long...)
Grilled chicken on top of an entire bag of salad/spinich mix and half a sweet potatoe.
Protien shake before bed.
That was my day yesterday, but it is fairly similar. A lot of the time I make my own sandwhiches etc.
I think I should add some Flax, and maybe a BCAA supp?
note i am NOT bulking.. just maintaining. I try to stuff something in my mouth every 3hrs, but never to be stuffed. When I was trying to gain over the winter, I ate more than that.. closer to 3000-3200 calories. Sometimes more.
I had planned to pretty much copy a diet posted in the diet section to the T if I started a cycle to make sure I got the gains. Luckily I love to eat, hate fried/fatty foods.. so that part isnt too big. I actually crave simple foods (chicken no causes, tuna, salad no dressing etc)

Up the cycle to 12 weeks and run D-bol at 30mg's a day instead of 20. You might even bump it up to 40mg a day after you see how it affects you. Why 300mg of clomid? It is a waste. Just run it normal at 70/70/35/35 for four weeks.
