    First cycle in 15 Years!

This was my first cycle in 15 years, I am 42. The day before my cycle I slipped on a large rock and F#^!ed up my arm pretty good as you can see by the picture. It was just bad bruising but I hoped and prayed it wouldn't slow me down......and it didn't!
    Cycle: 12 week cycle Tes C @ 400 mgs a week
    Hcg @ 250 iu's twice a week
    L-dex @ .25 eod.
    Diet: 3300 calories a day 40/40/20 split
Training: 4 day split, every bodypart once a week. Cardio two times a week 40 min.
Beginning weight: 180 lbs. Ending weight: 194 lbs.
My PCT ( which will be clomid 100/100/50/50 and Nolva 40/40/20/20) diet will remain roughly the same with an added day of cardio. I added a little flub-a-dub on cycle and look forward to getting that under control post cycle. Can't wait to rock the next one!

This is what I like to see, at 42years old and with a body like that gives me hope for my future.

    Truly an inspiration.

    Keep up the good work

Any before pictures? What was your logic/research on running HCG from 1-12 week?

HCG start times seem to be debatable for a 12 week cycle. Some of the vets here say to start HCG from day 1 of injections and inject 250IUs every 3.5 days (basically every injection day) , others say start HCG in the last 4 weeks of cycle.

I disagree with both those suggestions. I asked OP why he thought 1-12 was a good idea to get an understanding of why he did it that way.

I went with HCG @ 250 iu's twice a week to prevent my boys from totally shutting down and maintaining size. I researched over and over and it seemed like it makes good sense compared to trying to jump-start them. This was a problem for me when I was a youngster and feel that it was well worth the money. Was it overkill?, maybe. At this point in my life, I would rather be safe than sorry and it seems like the theory behind 250 iu's twice a week of Hcg right up to 4 days prior to Pct seemed to be the best choice for me.

Thanks for all the kind words. Will def make some micro changes to next cycle in terms of diet and training. I feel I overtrained in overall volume and plateaued by week 8. At that point I made some adjustments in my training but the fatigue had already set in. In terms of diet, I will trade in some of the simple sugars (fruit in my oatmeal etc.) for more complex carbs. I like the 40/40/20 approach but think it gets kind of stagnent and will change the ratio to 30/50/20 on my days off. I'm not so sure that after say week 8 you need to keep consuming 500 calories over maintenance a day, maybe 300 a day would be ok as I didn't make any real gains after week 8. Next cycle will be an 8 week short esther cycle, can't wait! Will def keep the hCG @ 250 iu's twice a week throughout cycle and the l-dex@ .25mgs eod.

Have survived my first week of Pct. Yikes!!!!! (actually not to bad). I have lost two pounds, it came off almost overnight and has stayed steady since. I would chalk the two pounds up to water weight. I have kept my calories at 300 above maint. and will continue to do so through Pct. I have been using the Eca stack mon.-fri. which I think helps move the workouts along. Strength has still been good and workouts solid. Have scaled the workout volume back a bit and try to "listen to my body" to determine max. poundages.

Has been 6 weeks from the start of Pct and I lost a total of 3 to 4 lbs.(Damn electronic scale!) Strength is still good, just the usual 5 to 10% drop that would be expected. I am starting a two week on and two week off clen cycle to start my prime for the next cycle. I will go 300 calories below maintanance, cardio 4 times a week@ 45 minutes (fasted) and continue my 4 day split only hitting abs and calves twice a week everything just once. After the first two weeks, I will weigh myself and maintain for my two week off period and then see what further changes need to be made.

Ok, well here it is: my first three days back on clen were tough. The cramping was insane even when drinking a little over a gallon of water a day and taking potassium pills and Taurine. I had started back at 100 mcgs and for the twelve days I was back on I went up to 160 mcgs. By day 12 I noticed my body temperature was normal and decided to get off of it a few days early. In the two weeks I was on I dropped from 191 lbs. to 185 lbs. I think I will drop the clen completely because I feel that I can easily lose three pounds a week without the clen and its side-effects. As for this week, I am taking a badly needed week off from weights and dieting all together and looking forward to my tes/tren cycle starting Dec.1st!

I will have taken 14 weeks off altogether and plan on getting bloodwork done as well as my yearly physical the week prior to my "planned" cycle date. Due to work I may have to push that date back a few weeks. No, I am not cruising and will take much more time after a Tes/tren cycle. My plan is to do two cycles a year. One cycle being long (10 to 12 weeks) with a long esther and one short (6-8 weeks) with a short esther.
