First Cycle Test + Dbol Log

So I will start with the basic stats and cycle information.
Age 25, 6'2" 151 lbs on day 1. Running 500mg of Genshi Testo-E a week with 40mg Genshi Dbol daily. I'm starting off with .25mg EOD of Genshi Adex and will leave it that way unless adjustment is needed. Also going to be running the standard PCT of nolva/clomid for 4 weeks. I will be on cycle for 12 weeks.

This first post is on day number 7. Current weight is 159lbs(+8). I attribute this mainly to diet as I see no signs of water retention.

My goal for this cycle is to stay under 12% BF and shoot to end up around 190lbs after PCT. I'm currently around 9%. I know this is a lofty goal but I'm shooting for the moon on this cycle. I'm looking to have a better physique, strength and confidence. I will update with a pic tomorrow and post one every week until cycle is complete.

Yes I did. I know many guys advise against it at that weight but I never got an answer why. Not that its an excuse. I made a decision and will have to deal with the outcome good or bad. Any reason why its a bad idea?

Because you will likely lose all you gain. At 151lbs it's evident you don't have the knowledge and/or discipline with your diet to make and/or retain gains.

You think 8lbs in 1 week isn't water, what do actually think it is?

And you really think you can gain 40lbs muscle even after PCT?

Drugs are pointless unless you know how and what to eat, with your stats you don't and your going to shut down your system for nothing because you will lose all gains due to your diet not supporting any new tissue. Do you have any idea how much it takes to fill a 6ft2" tall guy's boots with muscle?

Well I guess we will just have to see. I'm not ignoring you guys so don't take this wrong. I've got a good diet going now and will l stay 100% committed to doing this cycle the best I can. At the end we can look at the results and maybe all learn something. My normal weight is around 180 but my job over the summer was brutal and my diet sucked. I'm pretty sure I will jump back up to that weight in about another month which will be an addition of muscle and fat. Pics will be added later today.

Damn I'm just over 6'2" and I weigh 217 and I'm all natural (lifting for around 5 years, lifting for size and strength for the last 3). I started lifting weighing only 175 and have made most if my gains in the last 3 years. It's all about diet, training and sleep. Personally I would pack on some more solid mass if I were you. You will see much better results with a solid foundation.

    Just my .02cents. GL

You got decent body structure, but almost none muscle buddy.

Abroad your cycle and run PCT!

    Diet diet diet ONLY!

Try to listen and don't learn the hard way!

One more pic for comparison from beginning of cycle to end. Guys I'm really doing this log for me to be accountable to myself. Hopefully some of you guys follow it and let me know what you think. If your just gonna dog me out then move on to the next please. I however appreciate those who lend positive criticism. Thanks, Brian.

I'm just gonna make one comment here. If you dropped 30lbs (seriously 30lbs?) because of a. Job over summer that has now stopped there should have been no problem in regaining that weight, naturally, fairly quickly. Instead, you have chosen to cycle to regain that weight. You then have to wait 4 months before you can cycle again and will likelY be at the same weight as end of cycle, at best, at that time.

So, in 8 months it's likely you will be 180lbs.

If you had regained your weight naturally over the next 3 months and than cycled it's very possible you would be 200lbs in 8 months.

So, all in, this is a complete waste of a cycle and badly thought out.

    However, good luck.

The point people are making here is that if you have been training for 9 years even half properly, you would have most likely gained more. You do have a pretty good frame that would allow growth naturally if you were training hard and eating well. You have chosen to disregard your natural potential which would allow you to achieve more than you would based on your pics. You are screwing that natural potential by attempting to take what you thought was the fast and easy way out. Based on your lack of research of AAS, it is an indication of lack of research on training. I see so many young guys come here and talk about using steroids and they have done there research, but never see or hear much about there research on training methods and diet. QUOTES USUALLY GO LIKE THIS "I have done my research on using steroids and my diet is good" Usually that perception of knowledge is far from the reality of knowledge. People generally base there vision on what they look like based on what their friends look like or how they looked before. I am always amazed at Competitions like the Olympia and see half pints running around with tank tops on as if they were huge and going to impress someone. They are in a Venue where they are not going to impress anyone. Hope i did not get to off track, but you get the point.

End of week 2. Feeling stronger and firmer to the touch on my quads. Also my back and shoulders are feeling stronger. Diet has been going well with 3200 cal/day being the least I've had. Up to 162lbs (+11) since start of cycle. I think the first week was mostly water with maybe 3lbs being lbm. I'll keep updated in another week.

It's nearly all water and fat, you don't gain 3lbs LBM in a week.

I would agree that I have put on some fat and retain some water. However I would think that i f it was almost all water and fat I would feel spongy or soft. I feel more solid in my legs most notably and slightly in my arms. Maybe you can let me know if I'm incorrect in my thinking on that. Thanks, Brian.

End of week 3. Current weight is 168lbs (+17lbs). 90% of what isn't fat or water is going to my legs. I still feel that i'm putting on little fat because I'm noticing more vascularity by the week. Maybe my logic is wrong on thinking if I was increasing bf% significantly my veins would show less. Either way I'm happy putting on the weight that I am and feel good. I'll post an update in another week.

I only read your first post but let me tell you something...Once you stop, you will lose everything you gained on steroids . The more you built naturally, the stronger you will be even after you go off. I waited 6 years and reached 570lbs on deadlift naturally and I think that even if I stop, I will keep that strength because it was built with my own testosterone . I know you already decided but I just want you to think about it, that is all.

Here are the leg shots. Massive right? Lol. For those that want to comment on how they are small just remember that they have been attached to me for 25 years. I've figured that out. I will update later today after work and jumping on a scale.

End of week 5. Current weight is 172 lbs (+21). I think its being spread over my body pretty well because I really dont see much growth in any one area. Hope that's a good thing. I'm also putting up a new photo. Maybe you guys see something I dont.

    Nice progress ,
but it was possible without the gear , I went from 155lbs to 170 in 3-4 weeks natural , I just increased my carbs and protein and was eating 6-7 times a day.

I could be eating more and gaining more weight quicker I suppose. However I'd rather get 10 lbs a month than 20 due to fat gain being higher the quicker I put on weight. I'd say that at gaining 10 lbs a month I'm still putting on quite a bit of fat. Yes I could have done it natural. I was 185 lbs about a year ago all natural. Maybe I jumped the gun but I'll have to live with that decision.

Everyone has different genetics and metabolisms I guess, but I was on a strictly clean diet and I got leaner as I put those 15 lbs.Just chicken, salmon, fruits, veggies, peanut butter, and 2 sources of good clean carbs. So if you are gaining more fat than muscle then you need to check your diet.I was working out 6 days a week 2 hours+ each time.

I also only took the dbol @ 40mg daily for about 2.5 weeks. Now I just use it pre workout here and there @20mg. What do you all think about using it as I am now PW and maybe more consistently the last 2-3 weeks of my cycle?

Done with week 6. My weight is 171-172 as of this Am(+20). I think last week's weigh in was inflated due to it being in the evening and after eating all day. This mornings weigh in was done after restroom trip. Either way going up 20 lbs by half way is good for me. Not much more to really touch on other than strength is steadily getting better. I load 50 pound sacks of animal feed all day at work so I'm feeling better back and shoulder strength and stamina. I attached a new progress pic also.

Today is end of week 7. Current weight is 175lbs (+24). I can say that there is no doubt that this past week the test has really kicked in. Oily skin, shrunken testicles and increasing sex drive. I am positive now that I have got gear that is helping me out. First cycle for me so I didn't know what to expect or what. All I can say is that I'm sure starting to notice changes. The test has allowed me to put on almost 25 lbs in 7 weeks with what seems to be almost no fat. The definition on my abs is just as it was when I was 24 pounds lighter. Vascularity has increased substantially as well. I'm really pleased with where I'm at just past the half way mark.

Your gains will slow down as you go. Just realize that post PCT can be intense, and personally I like to slowly ween off of the cycle, by lowering test over last few weeks and androgenic compounds. Your first cycle is always the best. And the first few weeks seem to be the best at first. Once your staying at your natural max give or take a few pounds, youll notice when your making improvements. Theyll slow down, but youll stay strong and big. My personal opinion is who cares if your start small, the main thing is you spent money otherwise you didnt need to to get to around 200lbs, but **** it, I did the same thing years ago, and now Ive been on and off ever since. Keep getting stronger and more veins and definition even thought Im still chubby. Im way leaner than before and way more muscle. Just make sure your PCT is good to go, I recommend atleast 10,000 ui of HCG and then nolvadex .

Wouldn't chime in normally since I have no cycle experience but... I would take advice from seasoned and knowledgeable members way before a new member.

I know HCG is recommended throughout cycle at 250iu 2x a week and not as PCT. Don't take my word for it though, read the stickies of members that have many, many cycles under their belts.

I agree that gains have slowed down after about the first 3-4 weeks. I'm ok with that and actually think that the rate which I'm gaining weight now (2-3lbs/week) is still great and I'm not worried about gaining too much fat at that rate. As far as hcg goes its my first cycle and I'm just trying to keep it simple. I haven't decided whether or not to include it in pct yet. If you ask 10 guys on here what the proper use is for hcg you will get 8 different answers with varying dosages and when to utilize it.

What's going on guys? I missed my weekly update last week because work has been nuts. Currently half way through week 9. I'm posting a new pic taken 5 min ago. My current weight is about the same (175lbs) as it was at end of week 7. My diet has been slacking about the past week. I've been barely meeting maintenance calories. It shows. Any how the past two days I've got back on track and am going to do my best to keep it that way. All of my posted pics have not been taken post workout as to avoid looking bigger than what I normally look.
