    First Cycle: Test E with Dbol Kickstart

    Hi, everyone. I am new to posting on the boards although I have been lurking for quite a few months. The amount of knowledge here is invaluable and I've tried to incorporate it into a decent first cycle. I am currently halfway through week 4 and just had my last 50 mg Dbol dose yesterday, so the test E will be the only remaining compound for the cycle. I began at 5'7" 170 and am now sitting around 186-187, although I imagine a lot of that weight is water. We will see in a couple days, I'm sure. I have been taking in 3000-3200 calories a day (300 protein, 300 carbs, 80-90 fat) from chicken, lean beef and turkey, eggs, whey, cottage cheese, brown rice, sweet potato, oatmeal, grits, fruits, beans, etc. I plan on running the test for 12 weeks with adex ED, hcg starting on week 8, and nolva/clomid pct. I will be updating this daily with workouts, results, issues and whatnot so feel free to comment or correct! Thanks for reading and hello again to everyone on the boards!

    Good luck and a few pointers.

    Dbol was overkill for a first cycle but it's done now.

    A'dex only needs to be run EOD not ED but you don't mention dosage?

    HCG should be run from the start so I suggest you start that ASAP.

    What are your PCT dosages?

    Are you providing before, during and after photo's here?

    I was running the Adex at .5mg EOD and my nipples were getting a bit puffy after week 2, so I started doing .5mg ED and they've come back down. I have HCG on hand, I had just planned on running it from week 8 to week 12 and blasting right before PCT. I've heard many different opinions on HCG, probably more varied than any other piece of a cycle, so let me know if you think that's incorrect. I will be running Nolva 40/20/20/20 and Clomid 100/50/50/50. And I have a photo from the beginning of week 2, but I wasn't sure how to attach it on my first post. Here it is though.

    HCG needs to be run throughout the entire cycle. 250IU 2 times/week.

    Thanks for those links, but I've already read both of those multiple times as well as the majority of the stickies here and on other forums. The HCG link doesn't explain why it would be necessary to run it throughout the cycle as opposed to the last few weeks of cycle for someone who either doesn't have issues with or doesn't mind the appearance of testicular atrophy. My main focus would be to properly recover and, from what I've read elsewhere, running HCG the last few weeks and blasting before PCT would have the same effect.

    I am 26 and have been training since I was 18 but only seriously for the last 5 years. I had a lull from about June to December of 2014 where I ate too much, drank too much, and trained too little, and ended up gaining a ton of weight and losing a fair amount of muscle. I have spent the last 7-8 months dropping 60+ pounds (notice my stretch marks) and putting my previous muscle back on with a strict diet made up of the things I included in my original post, along with long distance running, and high volume weight training. I decided to run a cycle to put on as much extra muscle as I could in 12 weeks, do PCT, then spend as much time as necessary to cut down to ~10% BF before starting a second one.

    The size of your nuts is irrelevant. You run HCG throughout to maintain testicular function, health and to improve your chances of an effective pct. Are there any other body parts you'd willingly shut down when you don't have to?

    Good point; I guess there aren't really any negatives to running throughout.. How much and how often would you recommend? 250 IU twice a week like the above poster suggested?

    Yes... Follow it to a T... Safest and most up to date protocols(by austinite) and just what Kel said!

    Did chest tonight. Even though I have a sore throat and a headache, I still managed a decent workout, although my strength has come down a little from being off the Dbol . Warmed up with a few sets of bodyweight dips (3x8) to get the chest and shoulders warmed up.

    Finished with 3 sets of bodyweight dips to failure. All in all was a decent workout. I dropped the weight on my flys in the last couple weeks and really focused on keeping my chest contracted during the entire set and it seems to give me a much better stretch and pump.

    Yes, I have been doing 15-20 sets per large muscle group and 12-15 per small muscle group. I did lower volume for the 6 months prior to starting the cycle, then switched to higher volume when I felt like my muscles still had more "in them" during a workout. I basically go by feel as to how much volume I do per day.

    Had legs day last night, although I had a major sore throat which I'm fairly sure is strep. Going to the doctor to check it out in about half an hour. I usually start with squats on every leg day, but I had to settle for Smith squats as my gym (Golds) only has one squat rack and there were multiple people in line already. Warmed up with three sets of 50 lbs.

    Doctor didn't even test me for strep this morning, but assumed it was a bacterial infection so she prescribed some antibiotics and Pregnosone, both of which I took. Does anyone have experience with cortical steroids on cycle? I would assume they are catabolic in some way, but right now my focus is clearing myself up and regaining my lungs and endurance during training so I'm not too concerned. Decided to do shoulders today since tomorrow will be a day off and I am typical very sore after a shoulder workout. Warmed up with some bodyweight dips, focusing on squeezing the shoulder throughout.

Did some lighter weight today, partially because I'm still not feeling 100%, and partially because I wanted to keep the shoulders contracted for the entirety of the exercises, especially on the lateral and front raises. Ended with a pretty painful pump which is pretty normal for shoulder day, but it subsided fairly quick after a post-workout meal.

    Just ordered my midcycle bloods and I'm wondering how early is too early to go get them done. Would it make a difference if I went a few days before the 5 week mark? Or should I wait until right before week 6? I will in Vegas for 5 days during my 6th week so week 7 would be the other option.

    Up to about 187 today, a few pounds heavier than I got to with all the water retention of the Dbol . I've read that around week 4-5 of Test E you will really start seeing the difference, and I'd have to say that is true. I have 3-5 people a day comment on my changes, asking what exercises I do, how much protein I eat etc. Strength gains have slowed a bit but I'm sure that's to be expected after a Dbol kickstart, considering how much it affects overall strength. I will be getting my bloods done on Friday and taking some midcycle pictures in the same spot as my before pictures to gauge the difference so far.

    Been in Vegas for a week, but I just got home and my bloods have come in. Needless to say, I'm very pleased.

    @Relic What is the dose you are taking the test E per week? I didnt see it anywhere. Also in case u missed it Edit that blood work bro. Throw it in paint and black out the top.

    50 mg dbol is pretty much. I never ran more than 40. You should start some liverdetox rigth away. 1200 mg NAC ed will help
