its not a waste it's good to change your training up from time to time.

Oh I like how you attacked your arms... And yes PL training is much different than BBing... But most of us combine the two types of training or stick with one for a while then cycle your training to how your body responds best!

I'm actually on a pullback now and am hitting the higher end of my reps as My body was just screamin' at me to pullback... It's always a good thing to keep your body guessing!

I know your a PL by heart - how do you cycle your training? Like now your 'on' your gonna be pushing and pushing to get your PRs up - but after how would you cycle your training - stick to more compound moments and get in and out quicker? Just trying to get a better understanding of where your at in your training -- indeed your very strong

Just an observation - you definitely hit your arms very hard(you don't go to failure do you? - even in a high rep range you can feel out your weights to hit failure at least on 2 sets(I couldn't do anymore than 2 sets at true positive failure then beyond) & what I mean in bold are highlighted ex's that are a different movement but it's working the same muscle head... It looks as though your high volume on your arms(at least - w/as many sets and ex's your doing)... Take a look at the type of training HIT in Marcus' Dungeon!

    **Marcus's HIT Dungeon**

Read from the beginning as he was a PL b4 anything and he went to BBing but still implements many PL techniques(B&B - bracing and breathing) etc - I see your intensity is higher than most S/Sing etc - how long are your rest periods in between sets??

I wanted to hit prs Bc I wanted my numbers for the beg of cycle. But now for my powerlifting portion I'm doing 6x4 and 5x5 for my 80% or so. So i do that for few wks then see where I'm at again and repeat

    Nice.

I was doing my squats with heels elevated and I got busted by other members. Said it was like cheating.

What's your thoughts about squats w/ heels elevated?

I do them like that to stress the quads . Better quad activation.

Nothing really too it. Just 20-30 grams of carbs or less a day. Then you turn into a fat burning machine.

Biggest thing is to make sure and eat enough fats or else it will be hard to stick too.

    40-25-30

They calculated me at 132gof protein. 93g of carbs and 58g of fat (Those are the grams on days off and high/mod days I added 300 more of protein and carbs) I want to cut down 20 pounds. I'm at 154. What do you suggest?

Hey Cougar. Read your post thus far and wondering if you'd be comfortable sharing your weight? Curious if anavar has helped with weight loss at all. Good luck making that progress girly!
