    Carlos, have you used a dieretic or anything to help shed the fat with the cardio? Also, have you had cravings while on the diet and what have you done to combat them if you have?

    My bad Swole.......I meant for water loss close to the comp date. They still shed water prior to a comp don't they?

    Yeah, yeah, totally bruh. The last week you really dry out and lose weight as a result, indeed.

    I usually drop 6-7 lbs. of water the last 4 days.

    No diuretic yet. That's for the last week as Swole said. As far as losing fat, I used clen along with cardio and a cutting diet. I can't use T3 because I naturally have high levels of T3 in my system. I have hyperthyroidism. I take meds to lower my thyroid levels to normal. With the cutting diet I lowered carbs every few weeks to make sure I continued losing fat.

    I'm pretty proud of myself. Call me disciplined or neurotic, I have not cheated my diet the entire time. I was told I could drink crystal light or diet soda but I don't like either so I have had only filtered water since starting contest prep. About 3 weeks ago I went out to dinner with friends. There were 10 of us. An entire spread of food in front of me and there was nothing I could eat. They kept telling me one bite wouldn't kill me but in my head I kept thinking that if I take one bite the guy who beats me probably wouldn't have taken that bite so I didn't do it. I didn't give in. I sat watching them pig out while I sat eating lettuce. Later, I ordered samishi since it was the only thing on the menu that was not seasoned or cooked. I wrapped the raw fish in lettuce and ate that.

    As far as cravings, anytime I get a craving I write it down on the list of foods I want to eat after the contest is over. At the top of my list is an entire key lime pie. I told my friends I want them to bring one to the night show. As soon as the show is over hand me a spoon and the pie so I can get to it.

    I really don't do that much for shoulders. I finish my shoulder workout in 30 mins. I do 4 sets of heavy shoulder press either bar or dumbbells. Then 4-5 sets of side raises with dumbbells or cables, 3 sets of front raises dumbbell or cables, then 4 sets of rear delts. I think the secret to getting great delts are hitting the rear delts HARD. The bigger you get your rear delts the bigger your delts appear. It gives an illusion of a round full capped delt.

    Sounds about right...........after my partners last show, she did two shows two weeks apart, I brought a peanutbutter pie for her. Funniest **** thing I think I've ever seen in my life....a 101 pound woman eatting and entire pie and she had no intention of sharing whatsoever. I ran the same diet, team player and all, for the duration of her shows and I gained a newfound respect for what bodybuilders have to go through for a show.

    Cutting the water is a bitch to say the least, I **** sure didn't enjoy it. Another buddy of mine would only drink distilled water the whole time on his diet....talk about crappy water....I have no idea why or how the hell he drank that stuff.....claimed it was what his coach told him to drink.

    I'm pretty sure distilled water does not have sodium. I plan to drink that my last 2 weeks. Even though I'm "feeling" small, I'm pleased right now. I have glute striations coming in. Everyone says that is really hard to get.

    Remember to supp. distilled water with a EXTRA Vit. C uptake. The sodium is not the only thing filtered out of the water. I had to take 1g of vit C with every gallon because it upsets your stomach.
