    Biceps measurements

    Ok...there has been some contreversy lately regarding arm size claims. I, for one, believe every claim made here because I know our members don't need to fudge measurements for fear of being flamed...flaming just doesn't happen. There is no shame in NOT having 19-20" arms...arms that big are the exception and not the norm. I want everybody who views this to guess at my arm measurement 100% HONESTLY!!!! I'm a big boy and can take it. Just so you know I'm 5'10" and 250lbs in this pic (239lbs presently). After everybody has had a guess I'll tell you the measurement...EYE_CANDY is excluded...so is ANN (they know )

    That is one thick appendage. Kind of hard to guess in two dimensions. I would say DD is very close. I would say 19.5 - 20.

    Well i'm 5'8 and weigh 195 with 16.5 arms, I'm guessing with another 50 pounds you are around 19.75 - 20.5. I must agree with the fellow member who stated it is hard to tell in 2 dimensions.

    Great point KF....you can sorta see how thick my other arm is across the top of the bicep if that helps. BTW...give me 10 more honest guesses and then I'll tell you how big.

    Were very similar in size and physique...you seem abit more cut than me, but my honest guess would be 19.5.

    If Iam way off I apologize, but I thought I would take a guess!!

    Well bro I,d say 17 - 18"

    It is very hard to tell due to the fact that the triceps make up roughly 2/3 of the size of the arm and that arms can be wide and not thick.

    this is a very good point. we are all here to better ourselves and possibly make a few freinds along the way. no need to flame anyone.

    it really is hard to tell how big someones arm is in a picture. i have even been so far as to take a pic of mine with a measuring tape around it, and i had people present. but, still got flamed to hell as a fraud by a few people.

    pete told me before the size of his upper arm, so i will kill the suspense and tell you all that his cannon is**inches!

    Pete i would guess around 20 inches 19 .5 - 19 3/4 is my final answer, but understand body building is a sport of optical illusion and people get so intangled in numbers that they forget the reason why they do it in the first place. To better them selves. for example and to give the appearance of looking bigger

    prime example
    lee labrada - arms never over 18 inches
    and these people pumping syhthol in therir arms should have their head examined !! If you can to it with typical anabolics, hard work and dedication as most of all patience you might as well quite now !! if you need help leaning out pm me !!

    Congrats to Billy and Big Kev for being VERY close and a BIG congrats to Bigsus for being spot on. My arm measures 18" cold flexed and that is the truth. Most people guess bigger by about an inch. I feel I have a decent shape and that gives the illusion of a bigger arm. The point I wanted to make is exactly what Billy and I talked about. Tape measurements don't really mean anything guys, but I constantly see people (ON OTHER BOARDS)who add an inch or two because they are afraid what everybody else will say...why? I like to have the respect and admiration of my peers, but at the end of the day, the only person I have to answer to is myself. If I can look in the mirror, hit a biceps pose, see constant improvement...then that is all I will ever ask for. I think my arms look decent and most say they look big, but if I was 10%bf they would probably measure 16.5-17"...that's 4" smaller than my bro Big Kev!! My goal is 18.5-19" LEAN and I know I'll get there. So, don't worry about what anybody thinks...keep banging and feel good knowing that your brothers here at AR will never flame you!

    yep, well said petey! the average arm is about 14-15 inches. a 17 inch arm with shape is a big arm. i have seen guys with 17 inch arms that i would have swore where at least 19. as PX said, its all in the way it looks. shawn rays arms are about 18 at every show he does.

    Eversince the beginning of bodybuilding man has been measured on the size of his arms. I guess it is such a show peice that people always try to make them seem bigger than they are.
    Pete, you look like you have worked hard on the bi-s and it shows. I am just tired of the guys that exagerate, it makes it that much more unbelievable when somene like, say BIGKEV states his measurement an people don't beleive it.

    The moral of the story... I don't know I just wanted to make the comment. My pipes are about 18-18.5 cold and people do the same thing to me and it is a pet peeve.

    well with bf% arms just look larger at a smaller bf% generally... mine ar 17" but they don't look 14... maybe i am exaggagerating a bit but still you get my point.

    Really??? Your arms are only 18? They do really seem a lot bigger! Mine are about 15.5 or so, and yours look WAY bigger!!! Hopefully mine will get bigger and bigger
