I like reverse straight bar curls. Heavy weights and low reps though. That's just my opinion.

Reverse preacher curl is good, and on days you don't do arms you can add forearm curls and extensions.

I noticed a difference in my forearms when I started doing my deadlifts without lifting straps. Maybe someone else can confirm this, but I'm hooked on it, I don't use them unless I have to. My forearms have gotten huge in the last 3 to 4 months from it.
    Something to try anyway.

Try static gripping. (No straps obviously)

Grip some heavy dumbells, and hold it until your grip gives up.

Or with a barbell, put some plates on, grip it overhand until your grip gives up, immediatly grip it over/under until your grip gives up, then immediatly grip it underhand until your grip gives up. This whole process is one set, repeat 3 times.

    Enjoy your bigger forearms.

I'm in the same boat as you chief.....I train 'em long and hard.....the gains are just slow for me there. Some peoples bodies are just more stubborn than others in certain areas. Some people grow like weeds everywhere when they are on cycle, and for others they tend to have to focus more on the stubborn areas. I have the hardest time with both forearms and calves. Hit them an extra time each week and see how that goes.

    Good Luck!

Just do barbell rows, dumbbell rows and bb/db shrugs, etc. with no straps. If you don't grow bigger forearms then you are doing something wrong.
