New member, let me know what you think!
Here is a pic...keep in mind I've never done AS except a few weeks of Anavar , which didn't actually help me at all.
I'm 5'11", 178 lbs, 25 yrs old, bench about 285, and I've been training for about 6 yrs or so.

Im not Dr.Evil, but I think what he ment was that Van Damme trained seriously for years and attained a good base.
lets say someone was over weight. instead of moving right into steroids , they should form a good diet and good workout schedule. when they get into better shape and are smarter about their body because of experience then can take the next step.

Thanks guys. I'll keep you posted with my newest gains. I'm not sure whether I'm starting AS or not, but I have started up a sprinting program and implemented some heavier movements into my workout.

canes, my point was that people should try to get as close to their natural genetic potential as possible before hitting AS to minimize sides and maximize gains.

How do you know when you have reached your natural genetic potential? Thats the question. I know doing AS is NOT a shortcut to developing the body you want, but sometimes I wonder when I should start....

-

I go pretty basic on my chest...
BB Bench, DB Incline, DB Bench, Fly Movement (Cable Cross Overs or Pec Deck), and sometimes I'll do some DB pullovers or swap a DB out for some DB Decline. I always try to put 110% into all my workouts, but chest has ALWAYS been my favorite to do. As for what it looked like to begin with, I was REALLY skinny out of high school. I ran track and cross country. I didn't really start "body building" until a few weeks into my freshman year of college. When I started, I worked all parts equally, but chest was simply the one that I was able to develop the best.

Hey , Nice chest. I'v always tried very hard on my chest as you can see its really not that great as you guys. I know its all about incline and all. Give me some chest workouts you guys do to have a nice like that. I might play around with my workout a lil bit.

what do you do for your chest?
-
04-24-2002, 03:24 PM #36
BB Bench, DB Incline, DB Bench, Fly (either cable crossovers or Pec Deck). 3 sets each, usually 6-8 reps. Sometimes I'll sub in DB Decline for DB Bench, but only sometimes. Squeeze your chest during your reps!!! Do it once a week. I try to go to failure most of the time.
